  1. I recently discovered your channel and am thankful for alternative holistic options available to treat my pup. When searching locally to purchase Neem oil , I was surprised to discover that in 2012 this product was banned in Canada for use as an insecticide/ pesticide by the Canadian Pest Management Agency. Apple cider vinegar is easily available to purchase at my local grocer, so will try your recipe for that instead.

  2. Hello Dr. Jones, can you give me a tips how to used it for long hair dog? Is it okay if I’m adding the water to make it more liquid? If it’s can, how much do I add the water? Thankyou!🥰

  3. Thank you for all of your great advice…I know your videos have been very helpful for me and my cats. I want to share with your readers what we did for flea's. We gave each of our five cats a bath in blue dawn dish soap to kill the fleas off of the cats. Then we bought a McCulloch steamer and used the safe distilled water to kill the fleas…on floors, fabrics, sofas, mattresses…you name it….once a day for a week…killed every stage of fleas with one blast….safe with no chemicals…the heat kills them on contact. It has been three years now and no fleas. (The steamer is for your home…don't use it on your cats or you will burn them.)

  4. Hi Dr. Jones. Awesome vid! So is it confirmed that this natural spray really does work against fleas and ticks? I stopped using flea collars because of the bad news I've been hearing aboit them. Im desparate to look for an effevtive natural alternative.

  5. There's no way I'm getting that flea comb throughout my dogs heavy coat.
Do you have any suggestions what else to use please to distribute this through her fur?
Also my girl has a allergy to fleas and as a result has lost alot of her fur on her back n tail. Can the neem oil be used on bare skin?

  6. Neem is mostly for repelling mosquitoes but I never used it on my dog as I read that they're actually a tad toxic for them. Haven't come across Neem for fleas tho but the Lion Whisperer uses a Neem concoction (mixed with other things) for ticks on his lions 😆

  7. Dr…1..when I bathe my dog in your green tea, coconut oil, and apple cigar vinegar remedy do 8 leave the remedy on her fur or does it get rinsed out w water then ad your new repellant???
    2. my dog does not like being sprayed, or combed w flea comb. I hold her collar but she is anxious….tries to nip..how do I hold her and bathe her or spray and comb her..she is a lover but I think abused?

  8. Thank you Doc. I am from India. I tried your medication on my 2 year old Shihtzu. This evening I saw him very restless and itchy and found red patches around his genitals. I immediately looked up for your videos and found this one. It was so timely. My dog is now relaxed and rested and this is after just one application. I hope he feels better by tomorrow morning. Thanks once again.

  9. I have used neem oil to make a anti mosquito, midge fly spray for me it is very good.
For now I also add lemon eucalyptus oil as well when making it for me. I don't know if this oil is okay for dogs.
But I like to find alternative options as one of our dogs has sensitive skin, but has had it most of his life. He is now 12 years old.
Would love to find something natural that works on ticks. Where I live in UK there are plenty of ticks.

  10. I read somewhere that the mosquito repellent, “cutter naturals”, insect repellent,
Deet-free, it’s safe to use on pets. With this be true? I’ve used it on my dogs it leaves a nice smell on the dogs and I haven’t seen any fleas I also sprayed on their bedding. Sometimes I spray it on my hands rub my hands Together and then I will rub it around their eyes and nose but not in their eyes and nose and kind of in there the little flaps of their ear and around your ear but not down deep in their ear. Just try to get them covered in it kind of down there for a little bit around their feet. It helps a lot with the sprayed on their bedding I’ve noticed. Is it safe?

And also ,do you sell your own products and if so where can we purchase them?

I’m trying to watch all of your videos I’m limited on time but I’m trying to go through every video so this may be a question you’ve already answered and I just haven’t watch the video yet

  11. Fleas are bad this year for some reason. My boy cat has never had fleas and doesn't roam around till this year. I had squirrels climbing my patio screen several times a day then both my cats got fleas and now I am still fighting to get them out of my home. i can't use anything with strong odors or essential oils because of my own health problems. I have treated my cats with a topical which I don't like to do but had no choice. i bought Wondercide flea and tick and sprayed inside and outside my home which did help but still see a few fleas jumping on me but not like before a couple weeks ago. I found out I can't tolerate Wondercide essential oils are to strong for me and I got sick.

  12. I suggest using a fractionated coconut liquid oil which won't solidify and lighter so it's going to spread/spray much better and less oily. The carrier is just that, to carry the active oil.

  13. Hi, new subscriber here. This is completely off topic, but I need help. I ordered some shampoo for my ShihTzu. When it arrived I realized it was "Itch/medicated" shampoo. Is this okay to use when there is no need? Or should I send it back?

  15. I love watching your videos. I have a male German Shepherd that will be 5 in August of this year. He has separation anxiety really bad. His vet prescribed him trazodone 100 mg 2 to 3 tablets every 8 to 12 hours. Being a responsible pet owner I only want to give him safe stuff that is good for him. What do you recommend to help with his major separation anxiety. That you and I am glad you are giving al of us great pet owners your wonderful advice.
