In Egyptian mythology, Hathor means “Estate of Horus” and was the goddess of the sky, love, women, and fertility.

If you’re already familiar with Delta-8 THC, keep in mind that you should always consume Delta-8 THC in small doses until you’re comfortable with how your body reacts. You should never drive or operate machinery while under the influence of a Delta-8 THC high and avoid taking extremely high doses. Some of the side effects of Delta-8 THC include drowsiness, dry mouth, sleepiness, and increased appetite. There were so many unique features about the Hathor CBD website that it’s difficult to begin! I saw so many new and exciting ideas that you don’t usually see on Delta-8 THC or CBD websites. As soon as you log onto the company website, a bold banner encourages potential customers to become a member, for free! I’ve seen sites that encourage subscription services and bundled purchases, but never a membership program. You can sign up as a regular customer or a wholesaler, an excellent option if you’re a business owner looking for high quality Delta-8 THC or CBD products. There was also a tab for Contests and Giveaways, where the site offers promotions throughout the year for specified products.

Speaking of products, Hathor CBD sells both CBD and Delta-8 THC products, which you can toggle to view one or the other. The CBD section included topicals, pre-rolls, and flowers, while the Delta-8 THC section showcased their premium line of common products like tinctures, edibles, and softgels. There were also several unique products they offer, such as asteroids, moonrocks, and flavored cartridges. The site had crisp pictures of both the product and its respective packaging, as well as a detailed description of each product. I was impressed to see that each product had dozens of reviews from verified customers, allowing potential customers to read through other people’s thoughts before completing their purchase.

The Strawberry Lemonade Gummies are one of six flavors that Hathor CBD offers. The gummies are traditionally sold for $19.99, but there was currently a sale going on that knocked the price down to $13.50. I didn’t see any bundles or subscription prices, but the $13.50 seemed like a very fair price for a pack of ten gummies, each pack coming with 300mg of Delta-8 THC. I’ll go over the product packing and hemp information further down in this review, but for now, I’d like to dive headfirst into the full-blown review of these intriguing gummies.

Delta-8 THC Strawberry Lemonade Gummies Product Review

I was a little confused when I first saw the packaging for these gummies. The pouch was very small, but the packaging stated that there were 10 gummies inside. I tore open the resealable pouch and curiously peered inside. True to its claim, there were indeed 10 gummies inside…very Very VERY small gummies. I shook one gummy out and noted that it was shaped like an upright gummy bear, about the size of half my thumbnail (yes I actually measured). The tiny gummy had a stiff texture but was still spongy (like a traditional gummy) and was completely coated in sugary crystals. Since the gummy itself barely had any scent, I held the package to my nose and detected a light strawberry scent.

Once the initial examination was over, I popped the tiny sweet into my mouth. My initial judgement of the gummy’s texture was confirmed as I began to chew: a little tough but still chewy. My biggest shock, however, was the taste. With a description like Strawberry Lemonade, I was really looking forward to the comforting taste of sweet strawberries with a light lemon zing. The initial flavor was indeed strawberry, but the bitterness of the hemp quickly overpowered any strawberry or lemonade flavor I attempted to further detect. My taste buds were overwhelmed with the strong hemp flavor and I noted that there was a slick coating that quickly coated my teeth and tongue. There were a few tough pieces that got stuck in my back teeth and I also noticed a light burning sensation in the back of my throat after I had swallowed. I definitely recommend drinking water or brushing your teeth once you finish chewing and swallowing the gummy. The recommended dose is half of a gummy, which is quite impressive once you see how small the gummy actually is. I ate a whole gummy, but feel free to microdose until you’re comfortable with how your body reacts to the Delta-8 THC.

I started to feel the effects of the gummy a mere 30 minutes after I had eaten the gummy, which was a delightful surprise since gummies can take anywhere from half an hour to two hours to fully kick in. My eyes burned slightly and my eyelids felt heavy, and I felt slightly cotton-mouthed, but those were the only side effect. I enjoyed a heightened sense of touch as well as a deep sense of relaxation, very much engulfed in a full-blown mind and body high. The high reached its peak about an hour in, and I enjoyed blissful euphoria until I went to sleep.

Lab Testing

Since no cannabinoid is regulated by the FDA, independent lab tests are critical to confirming a hemp-based product contains exactly what the company claims. Independent third-party lab tests are extremely expensive and time consuming, meaning that any CBD or Delta-8 THC that company provides them is firmly devoted to quality for their customers. These unaffiliated labs painstakingly test each product and confirm the ingredients without bias, thus delivering honest and accurate results. Hathor CBD proudly displays the COA results in a tab on the top of the page. There was also a QR code on the front of the packaging that you can scan that will take you directly to the COA page. I appreciated that the results were located both on the packaging and the website, meaning that the casual browser and the curious customer can both view these results. Some companies have the test results for each individual product, but it looks like Hathor CBD only provides the results for the cannabinoid profile of their syringes and their moonrocks. I would have liked to see the results of each product, but I do understand that these tests are expensive and that the cannabinoid profile is the same that is used in each product. The About Us tab does urge their customers to reach out with any questions or concerns, so if you’d like to learn more about Hathor’s products and testing, feel free to reach out to them directly.

Hemp Information

There wasn’t a lot of readily available information on the type of hemp used or the extraction process, but the company does state that none of their products include a cutting agent due to their high quality. The 2018 Farm Bill states that Delta-8 THC products are legal for sale and distribution as long as the product contains 0.3% THC or less, making it readily available throughout the United States. The company does encourage contacting them for answers to specific questions, so feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more about their hemp quality, cultivation and farming, and extraction methods.

Product Packaging

Hathor CBD appears to have gone through a rebranding of their product packaging, as the small pouch I received differs from what is displayed on the company website. The product packaging that I received was a pouch that was clear on the front, but foil-backed on the rear. A navy blue sticker on the front displayed the product flavor (Strawberry Lemonade), type of product (Delta-8 THC gummies), company name, and cannabinoid content (30mg per gummy for a total of 300mg). Upon closer inspection, I realized that there were hieroglyphic symbols against the navy blue background, adding a touch of exotic Egyptian magic that was exciting to look at.

The back of the packaging was very plain, with only a large white sticker covering the back. A block of text detailed the Nutrition Facts Servings, ingredient list, and suggested use (less than half a gummy). The remaining half of the label dictated firm warnings to keep away from children, not to use unless recommended by a doctor, and stern age restrictions. For such a small package, this label included everything you need to know about the product in order to deliver a safe yet effective high.

CONCLUSION

I was truly blown away by the potency of these small gummies, especially when the recommended dose is so small! While the taste was a little disappointing, as I was really looking forward to a sweet and tangy flavor, the ensuing high was incredibly intense and pleasurable. I wasn’t expecting to like these little bear-shaped gummies so much, but I can honestly say that I was delighted with the results. I highly encourage you to try these tiny treasures, both beginner and advanced consumers alike. Remember, you can always increase your dosage over time! Be mindful that while there is a strong bitter hemp flavor, the product begins to work quickly and delivers a delightful mind and body high that you’ll want to experience again and again.
