I have a buddy who rode pro bmx, same kind of story, long run, the biking didn’t fulfill him. Went adventuring for awhile. Moved up to the Yukon and became a Pastor. Was a fun story to watch. Loved the whale shark bit.

I looked up to this man so much growing up. I based my life around what this super skateboarding legend has done and I mimicked him as much as a teenager could at that time. This man is in my list of most influential people of all time. I got on flow for Emerica one time for a brief period. Long time ago and I always want to meet him and never got the chance, along with Reynolds who is the my actual all time GOAT.

This was beautiful you guys. What a truly wonderful tidbit of knowing! I grew up just after Bones Brigade and caught the skate bug for life a few years after birdhouse and skated right into all the other 90s skate companies that made the industry exactly what it is today and Heath……. oh man Heath, with his gnarley weird deck graphics. We worshipped this dude as a skate god, and he is the epitome of humility. What a rad evolution of a person! This was legend to watch! Skateboardering after 30 for some reason the concrete just doesn't give like it used to. Snow and waves on the other hand can be much more forgiving and offers arguably even more satisfaction.
