  1. Hi Doc, what can I do for my 1yr old dog that gets car sick? Doesn't matter if we drive 10 minutes or 3 hours (barfs 6-8 times in 3 hours). We've tried not feeding her in the morning, then she barfs bile. Tried Benadryl, ginger, saltiness crackers…nothing seems to work. This has stopped us from taking her to the beach, friends, vacations kind of stopping us from taking her anywhere. We love her so much, but we're now staying home & getting bored. Please help.

  2. I've used Traumeel liquid for my dogs in the past whenever they have gotten injuries. I have the cream that I use for the arthritis in my hands. It's great stuff! The dogs don't care for the taste of the liquid & I wasn't aware that I could use the cream on them. Thanks for this great tip, I'll be sure to use the cream on my dogs & cats from now on.

  3. My vet advised to give Traumeel to my cat orally (tablets or liquid). Worked well, for a long time, occasionally in combination with acupuncture. Traumeel is definitely something to have at home. Never tried creme or jell, though…. neither me nor any of my kitties.

  4. This has got to be THE best site for Natural animal care! Dr Jones, you are an angel! Reading other people's comments is very helpful, and it answers ~ with your answers ~ a lot of my questions. Thank you!

  5. Perhaps use Traumeel, for bone/joint trauma, while supplementing with Hyaluronic Acid (a naturally occurring substance in our bodies) liquid (more effective, & quicker than the capsules) which can help to create more natural cushioning in the joint area.

  6. Thank you for all wonderful tips – my 10 year old dog has a Ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament (old injury). I've been giving her Turmeric and recently switched to Boswellia (amazing results for swelling) + using camfrey cream & Arnica gel.
I'll order Traumeel cream, it's very easy to find online 🙂

  7. Will this help with chronic issues like hip dysplasia? Could I use this daily to prevent flare ups?

My Vet gave us Rymidal and I'm supposed to give it daily but I only give it for flare ups otherwise I use ice after he has been really active to prevent swelling.
