Iodized kosher salt works best. People don't realize the abrasion of the salt (same with rock salt) is literally whats working. Stop using table salt, you're just wasting table salt. People say iodized salt also makes a reaction with the iso but I can't account for that one. Nonetheless, very informational. Biofilm can create in your bong in less than 24 hours, and can give you the NASTIEST pulmonary infections humanity has seen. Y'all smoke safely out there
I highly recommend everyone to try Randy's Black Label. similar to Yola's ingredients the key difference is acetone instead of alcohol. that stuff works in seconds to get your glass spotless and is way less of a process

Pro tip, go to Home Depot and get alcohol, it’s often with the paint thinners labeled as fuel, but it’s 99% alcohol.

After a bad chest infection I clean change my bong water everyday and clean with alcohol + salt at least once a week .. Amazon sells 99% alcohol here in the UK it's quite cheep too
imo if you clean your glass regularly and you have at least 91% alcohol you dont really need salt, but if you take your time to clean it def helps. Dirty pipes/bongs are the best to use salt, I've never really seen a difference when using salt to help clean my rig
