  1. One thing you didn't mention that I noticed can be helpful is practicing mindfulness. The state of being fully aware of the present moment. Our minds tend to be subconsciously thinking about the past/future. But if you can get your mind to focus on the now, it can really bring you into a calm state. You can find some methods on Google to help induce a state of mindfulness, try it out!

  2. Make more videos!! Also, tell us if you use any CBD or supplements if ya don’t mind? I’ve been holding off on medication for a long time. I’ve been considering mediation (done it before) and also the gym. Both helped a lot. What’s your tip to deal with the twitching and such when first starting mediation again and doing body scans. My body gets so uncomfortable after about 5 minutes. It’s hard to get into the habit of it. Music is a big thing for me

  3. I hope you are doing ok Josh. I used to watch your videos back in college (around 4-5 years ago) but stopped smoking due to my job and haven’t really watched since. You have always been a great person and if you ever need someone to talk to, I am here for you.

  4. I already commented,
But after watching this over 10x…
I come to the realization that Holy crap, my entire diet and lifestyle is causing my anxiety. I am a caffeine drinking, cigarette smoking, stoner.

The cigarettes are very hard to kick josh. It’s too expensive to smoke weed evrytime I crave one… so I’m gonna try CBD live resin whenever I crave cigs. I’m also in an illegal state so I just can’t walk over and get thc concentrates, I would have to borrow moms hair straightener and press expensive nuggs 🙁 thank you for amazing content, this is a real approach for a larger audience.. I love cigs but I hate the anxiety I built up by being misinformed/ without guidance.

P.S. you totally have the dad vibe going the past few videos, and I’m actually older than you. LOL

  5. I have only one kidney. So smoking weed is the only thing i can do without hurting myself. I don’t take pills or drink or smoke cigs. Smoking weed helps me with every single problem i got. To me weed isn’t a gateway. I feel as long as i love yourself enough. You find the strength to say no. That’s all u have to do is have really strong self control

  6. Most of my anxiety/stress comes from the fact that ive never had any romantic relationship. Im 23 (turn 24 in a month). I havent even had my first kiss. Its always in the back of my head. It just makes me extremely sad whenever i think of it and its hard for me to not think of. I just dont know how i ever will find someone. It just feels like dating is like a test that everyone else in the world has been taught besides me. Me and my roommate started going sober after months of heavy drinking and smoking. I hope this helps with it, but i feel my depression coming back since i cant just numb it with smoking a bowl or taking a few shots.

  7. Hey strain I just want to say I love you and what you do no matter how hard you fall , I'm not a dedacated fan I have to be honest. All tho I have watch you though out the years. I just want to say your stronger than you think you are and I'm sure you have a fan base that will support you though anything just ask ,but with that out of the way I just want to give you some advice. I'm no different than you but what has really help me in my life is trusting and letting go of out comes in life ,also trying to not be so attached but of course we all have to have her hands on something right ? Just try to hold on loosely . I know it takes practice I'm still struggling with it but I try to remind myself that life is a process and it's better to flow with a river than go against it . mediation and working out helps too. Last thing is your amazing and I hope you read this

  8. I used to smoke all day everyday so I took a tolerance break for 20 years. Now I can consume cannabis like a prescribed medicine. I have 1 joint per day and usually at night. But I've down the road that you're on. Take good care

  9. Weed gave my severe anxiety i was never ever overwhelmed by social events or groups of ppl but after smoking heavily for like 2 years and bcuz my friends didn’t smoke I started getting away from them just so i could get high as fk and after i quit I started getting shaky and anxious around ANYONE OR ANYWHERE

  10. I've used meditation and really need to get back into it. Another good source for guided meditation is YouTube. I use to watch… I think here name is. Rebecca borucki or something like that. She did guided beginner meditation. Great video bro. Glad to have you back making videos. Stay safe🙏

  11. This speaks to me heavily. I deal with General anxiety disorder but I'm always down to try out new things that makes me happier. Last night I went for a 5km run and did it within 31:03! I felt proud and today I made myself a stir fry and I feel great.
I appreciate your channel a lot Josh truly thank you for helping me getting outside again.

  12. I've tried restorative yoga and valerian teas. I've found they really help out. Being properly rested after a night is a game changer for my mentality through the day and I believe both the excercise + meditation that yoga provides on top of the teas relaxing effects make it a nice combo for myself. Haven't really given my diet much thought lately though… might be able to improve this.

  13. Hey josh, please check your Instagram DMs as my company has reached out to you and we would like to pay your bills/sponsor an episode or 2! Really would like to help somehow. Thanks for the great content as always

  14. Motivational speeches help me relax a bit. Don't mean to knock the sober approaches but I really wish I could try microdosing mushrooms bc i have always loved them and they work wonders for healing the mind.

  15. YouTube has hundreds of guided meditations. Jason Stephenson, Meditation Vacation, and Michael Sealy are great places to start. I use them at night before I fall asleep. It’s completely altered the way I use my brain. Highly recommend.

  16. Change is hard and self work when we don’t think we deserve it. Exactly what I needed to hear today, you might have saved the day Josh. Thank you for the tips, you’re amazing and strong.
