2. Sniff the bud and if has a hint of ethanol it’s likely just CBD bud sprayed with what MIGHT have been thc. Likely spice. Ethanol is used to water down distillates and a huge giveaway. And yeah commercial grows often use PGR. Look for buds as dense as rocks but looks almost entirely formed from pistols (the orange parts of the bud)

3. I remember when I first smoked weed , the smell of weed was so different , every strain stunk and smelled completely different , now they’re dull to me and most are fused into one weed smell but I guess nose blindness is a real thing

4. When u talk about white ash usually that is because your not getting as big of a hit as u should. Most flower that burns if it is burned/smoked enough it will become the “gray” ash.
