Tried this recipe to the T. Using a cast iron skillet on a home stove top just doesn’t work. You won’t get the right texture and tenderness they are advertising. On a pan too many juices accumulate to get that grilled taste and done-ness. The first batch was too chewy. Then I put the next batch in the broiler oven set to high on a wire rack on a cookie lined with foil sheet and it came out fantastic. Try that for those that don’t have a outdoor grill.
Thank you Soooo much Chef David and sir Simon for sharing your recipe here from Cote NYC, I’ve made this dish today and my family felt like we were dining in a Michelin star restaurant… it made us wonder how great the foods are in Cote NYC.. will definitely check the place once traveling is allowed in this side of the globe 🌎 😊
Fuck do we really have to see the ideology at every single thing we see? Could we have just skipped the "partner" part where he shows how much he loves HIS husband? Seriously??? Like which cooking instruction video ends up with the chef bringing on camera his wife? *Goes to live in a cabin in the woods with no internet
This is true Korean bbq ….not everyone understands that it's not only about the food, which is amazing regardless – but having everyone sit around and eat together maybe over some drinks too…
Absolutely love it when you can share food with a bunch of family members or friends like this. Food to me is something that is an experience and I enjoy sharing it with people
I never knew that is how the galbi on the bone becomes the carpet galbi with the bone. Learn something new everyday. See you this Saturday! A spot I hit every visit to NYC.
After watching this video. Don't buy any BBQ marinate sauce from a jar that sells in the market.
