So he wanted to kill the lumberjacks but didn't fire a single bullet at the presidents house while the comrades he was upset died were falling around him? I call BS. The civilian side of me says good on him for turning his life around. The military side of me thinks he's a coward that refused to die in honor (given the period of time). Only thing going for him is how warped his mind was growing up in North Korea. Torn on this but overall hoping he provided a lot of good to the world.

Things went crazier after this … South Korea's president wanted revenge and ordered the creation of a suicide squad to kill North Korea's leader. This team called Unit 684 was trained on an island for several months, but when the relationship between both Koreas began to improve, the government decided they should die. The team killed all the island guards and decided to kill their own president. They were massacred by the Army and some of them committed suicide. Who said history is boring?

As a boring, white, american, I find North Korea extremely fascinating. I’m also an atheist, so I didn’t live how focused the video was on religion but it’s nonetheless a really interesting story.
