its only a difference if you roast the weed, and on the first hit because it requires a roast. but after the first hit you just need to touch the weed with the flame for like a 10th of a second and its cherried. Only reason i would ever buy hemp wick is for a bong.

There is a technique to smoking with a lighter. You dont roast the fuck out of it. You "lick" it with the flame and let the cherry do the rest. Try it and it will definitly be way better and smother then you roasting the bowl.
