  1. My shepherd does notdo dry food EVER😂 But he gets beef, lamb, salmon, cod, sardines, chicken livers , liver all slow cooked in water. He gets omega 3 Fish sourced but is not great on veg or fruit except sweet potato and mandarins for some reason????
He is an allergic dog ear probs helped by your suggestion of canestn but it doesnt seem to ever clear up.😢😢 Also black irritated skin under arms sends him mad any suggestions?

  2. I've been including most of these items in my dogs diet for a few years. Although, I feed them a mostly raw diet (pumpkin is the exception), so they get raw chicken liver, raw whole sardines, raw farm-fresh organic chicken eggs with the shell membrane, raw carrots and absolutely no kibble 😉. Plus a bunch of other stuff not related to this video.

  3. One thing I do. I save the meat bones we eat off of and put then in the freezer instead of throwing them away. When I have enough, I use them to make bone broth for my dog. I add that to her food.

  4. Note : Fibre creates constipation.
Vegetables like Kale and Carrots have Lectins, Phytotoxins, Anti-Nutrients, Oxalates and Phytoestrogens. Notice how Tula didn't want the carrot in this video ? Just like when you try to give a baby Brussels Sprouts they turn away and don't want it.Animals and babies are not stupid.
Dogs are facultative carnivores. Cats are obligate carnivores. They're supposed to eat meat and a little fat. Humans are smart enough to make their own food and dumb enough to eat it.

  5. Please do a similar vid for cats. My kitty yells at me as i prepare vegetables, tofu lol of course she gets some including plain canned pumpkin – she’s a senior but has no clue going strong as ever!

  6. Apart from a little bit of meaty treats occasionally, my Japanese Spitz is a vegetarian. I feed her some Zen Vegetarian kibbles in the morning with a bit of sushi nori sheets, small amounts of veges or beans and little algae oil. At lunch time she gets very small amounts of raw fruits and veges that she likes, a chewy treat for her teeth and sometimes a little bit of cheese.. For dinner I feed her vegan homecooked, stricly following the recipes in Dr Pitcairn's book also adding a supplement from Compassion Circle. She is two years old and so far doing well.
Dr Jones, what are your thoughts on this? Thank you for all you do for the animals. 5:26

  7. Thanks again, Doc. I love it when I buy and cook these items for my dog, feed it to him, I leave the room and come back later, only to find again and again he eats around all the extra good nutricious stuff you're recommending. Tonight I'm going to mix some pumpkin puree in with a little vanilla ice cream and see how that goes. He seems to be having some stomach issues which has me worried… the perfect supplement for my high blood pressure… and he's only a year and a half old.

  8. I wish my cocker spaniel could have more natural foods. He has such bad ibs that almost everything puts blood in his stool. The only thing that I’ve been able to give him is natural balance lamb and rice. I live on a farm and try to supplement with our own meats and eggs, but with no luck. He’s almost 12 now and has been this way since he was a puppy.

I wish I could get him off dog food, but at this point, I think he will have to continue with natural balance. I always worry they will change the formula or stop making his food.
