  1. I wish for all to be aware of that all products foods, vitamins, pet supplies, are put through a very dangerous, unhealthy process. These items get zapped by the laser beam as soon as they leave manufacturer then each time on to each truck lasered again and each time leaving each truck lassered again, then again to be stored in a warehouse again when leaving warehouse, and again in each vehicle transporting it to store warehouse or central warehouse then store one, then in transportation to market by every vehicle so in all that's a heck of a lot of adulteration to all products.
And do not forget, the market does beam also upon entry and each day while on shelf. How safe do u think this practice is? So not only must we be concerned about chemicals, pesticides, but also this unsafe radiated red laser beam of everything. It's uncalled for and there will be no change until, we, the public, CARE enough to object vehemently on this method. We need to safeguard quality of life. Is this why high increase in Alzheimer's.?? More so than years ago. Since about 1982 this laser scan came to be used. So many long years. It needs to end. But we must then ask, why does government allow such unsafe hazards for it's people, GMO also it did not stop… Aspertame too, so question it thoroughly. Put two other parties in office, it's time for change. Newcombers without connections, not beholding, and with safety in mind before profit.

  2. I went vegan some years ago and started researching how to feed my animals vegan in a healthy way. I saw there is no way my cats can change but my research showed vegan food for dogs is actually very good…and i had a vet mention she switched her dog to a vegan diet due to health issues. I still wasn't sure though so started feeding him vegan kibble with a meat topping…thinking it's a good balance…I've always worried if it was the best choice…he's 17 and so its hard to tell if it made a difference as he's got various old age issues…i'm SO glad to see this video from my most trusted vet 🙂 It's true he'd eat chicken all day if he could but…I'd eat ice cream lol – so just bcs their fav food is meat, doesn't mean its what they NEED. I admire and value Dr Jones so much <3

  3. Hello Dr…I have a question…can u help me please. Today I took chloe my rescued yorky to have her teeth clean and to have an extration of two tooth…I arrived at the clinic at 8 am and my dog was given to me at 6.05 pm…after all the patients were gone which was estrange because usually when i take Chloe for dental cleaning or extraction she is out at 4 pm…Any how…I was told by the front desk gal that I owed another 180 dollars after paying $460 at front…the doctor examined Chloe and saw the teeth but never examine any other part of her mouth. He also told me that Chloe have a bronchial infection and needed antibiotics…they asked me sign some forms that specifically say that i have to pay for extra extractions. However, the front desk gal said that all my dog's tooth were taken out…i was shock, concern and upset. Then the doctor was upset at me because I was asking questions…turned out that they took 10 tooth, never asked me if i was ok with that, nor did x rays, but when i asked the doctor he said that it was a "Prevention" procedure so the dog did not have to come back every year for cleaning nor extractions and in case the teeth got infected and placing the organs in danger…Preventive???? So why I was not asked??? My dog is only 6.5 years old…so is that a normal procedure…I am very upset…specially when I asked for the bronchial infection medicine I was told that it was not such infection???? then I was told by the doctor and the nurse in the room that the medicines for pain and antibiotic for the tooth extraction were included…but then i was asked to pay for them . I paid for vaccines as well. and a blood test..So can u tell me is that normal???? Is like taking a person to have kidney stones removed and walk out with no kidneys just to prevent more kidneys stones in the future…I am wrong??? ah…in top of all that they lost my dogs leash and have the face to tell me that I lost it and probably took it home…the problem…i never went back home because the drive is 45 minutes and the gas is expensive…

  4. My baby, Marleigh, a 13 year old Chihuahua/ Miniature Pinscher was diagnosed with liver MVD at 4 years old. We tried everything for years to get her liver enzymes as close to normal as possible. We saw an internal medicine vet who suggested a vegan diet. It improved her enzymes significantly. A few years later, Marleigh had to have her gall bladder removed. She also has luxating patella in both rear knees. Pain meds not a good option for her due to the liver MVD. We started CBD oil and within about 3 months her enzymes started improving more and more. Four months ago she was diagnosed with CHF and put on Enalapril and Furosemide. Her vet recommended a salmon based dog food. Well, Marleigh doesn't eat it well. I also started her on Qunol Ultra CoQ10 100 MG x2, along with NaturVet liquid Salmon oil. I give her a tablespoon of organic ground flaxseed each day, as well as a sixteenth of a teaspoon of ground Tumeric mixed with pure honey. She IS MY ENTIRE WORLD and has been since I brought her home when she was 3 months old. Her vet said her prognosis was a little better than most with CHF since I caught it early, however still not the news us dog parents want to hear. I started boiling her one skinless chicken breast every 3 days so her heart can have the protein it needs. Is there ANYTHING else I can do to help her?

  5. At 17+ my dog has dementia, vision and hearing issues., his back leg muscles have wasted
Im doing yam, carrots, peas, he get salmon few times a week and egg, but he love his wet canned food few times a wk.

  6. Hi Dr. Jones. I am in Australia and I feed part kibble which is produced by a company and it is very well made called stayloyal. I also feed bard raw and my 6 1/2 yo cavoodle is doing very well on it. I love that I found your channel and have implemented your suggestions for ears and feet licking with good results. Thanks again, Helen

  7. No not and never, tee hee. Fruits and vegs in all amounts yes but it' meats. The difference between thriving or surviving. The problem is often humans can't feed themselves. Look at their teeth, vegan does not cut it. Talk to rescuers that have gone to raw and get the facts. Bias and greed definitely flaws any study. 36 or 40 are numbers that are very close.

  8. I have a jug pug he is 12 this year he is limping on his front leg the vet prescribed anti-inflammatory tablets called carprofen Didn't tell me what the side effects until I look it up not good now I have him on a rosehip vital canine powder i Sprinkle It on his food really works I really love Dr Jones information Love and God's blessing to you all ♥️🐾🐾🐕😺🚶

  9. One of my dogs has severe allergies. The vet wants her to eat hydrolyed protein dog food but after reading the ingredients, I might try vegan dog food. My dogs eat homemade, raw, veggies and some fruit and a little 5 star kibble. I am a vegan but I never believed dogs should be exclusively vegan But my dog is allergic to most proteins except sardines for some reason so I may have to try it out afterall. . Maybe I can top it with her favorite…sardines.

  10. Dear God no. Absolutely DO NOT feed your dogs a vegan diet. Just look at their teeth. They do not masticate. They have short digestive tracts that aren't set up to break down high fiber foods. This is absolutely awful.

  11. I give my shihTzu a raw organic only! Diet. Not dog food meat. I have a top insurance, but never need to go to vets to use it. I do give her organic supplements too. A natural flea treatment only occasionally. And no vaccines. Unless I cant travel without her having them. Also I would like to add what I think is very important she hasn't been neutered, so she has her Hormones. She's 9 yrs old and has developed a likeing for a organic slow cooked lamb shank. I am vegan , but my dog wont eat vegan food . It's a natural balanced quality food , no chemicals that keeps our animals healthy 💜🐕💜

  12. My dog's diet… (my dogs live to 18 years and beyond)

    One of my recipes:
    1) In a large electric roasting
    pan…
    10 lbs raw chicken
    3 lbs broccoli
    3 lbs sweet potatoes
    3 lbs varied greens
    3 cups water
Cook at 140 degrees for 8-10 hours or overnight.
    Allow to cool down.
    2) Mash up mixture utilizing all liquid according to your dogs bite size.
    3) fold in 10 raw organic eggs.
    4) add one LEVEL TABLESPOON of each of the following:
    Acetyl cartinine
    MSM
    L-methionine
    Taurine
    Horsetail herb
    Ashwahganda
    Astragulus

    5) 1/4 cup of the following:
    Chia seeds
    Salmon or Krill oil
    Moringa Oleifera
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Store in freezer.

Note: never combine fruit with meat due to difference in digestion time can cause stomach upset and vomiting. Fruits can be used as treats in between meals, but not near feeding time.
    * Make sure you begin with fresh raw ingredients. Canned goods have high sodium and a plethora of preservatives including nitrates and possible bpa from the can's lining.

  13. I feed my dog cooked meat, usually, beef, turkey, local beef liver and green beans plus other veg and 2 kinds of high quality kibble. I find this idea of a vegan diet very interesting.😸…but not sure I would do it. Thank you Dr.! Love your videos.

  14. My 12 month lab has been itching since I got him at 8 weeks…I immediately switched him to a raw diet at 8 weeks….I have tried everything under the sun….have a cabinet full of expensive products and none have worked….he's healthy but itches and has dry skin….he's on healthy fats….I don't know what else to do….I have focused on healing his gut…had the microbiome test, food and environmental intolerance test done and avoid his triggers but he still itches….he's on natural flea and tick sprays as needed….he's not been on any toxic preventative meds….and has only had first round of puppy shots….I don't know what else to do….it's hard to see them miserably scratching….I tried the quercetin…doesn't help…maybe he needs a vegan diet?

  15. Waited so long for you to do this!!!!!thank you, thank you xxxx my collies doing really well in a vegan diet, but sad to see you just illustrating that with kale. There are so many vets now advocating a Nutricious, balanced vegan food. Check out those in the uk, such as just be kind. Perhaps then another video, a bit more balanced would be better…. Also Prof. Andrew Knight, sustainable dog food…. Not to mention longest living dog, plant based, Bramble…my collies mobility, alertness, coat, so much better on vegan.

  16. My miniture dachshund loves cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage, I give her some mostly raw everyday. She gets organic kibble that has meat, I mix couple of brands. She eats green grass in the back yard everyday, she does not throw up 🙂 She also get a few blue berries and a little plain oatmeal no salt from my plate. Once a week or two, gets a sardine from canned no salt though it is still a bit salty, I started giving her a a couple spoons of canned organic dog food daily too. I adopted her at age 5, she came down w IVDD at six and rear end paralyzed, had surgery and recovered fully in time, she is 10 years old now and had her yearly screening that looked really good. So far no reoccurrence of dreaded IVDD and no other disease.

  17. I'd like to see a study comparing a homemade cooked diet (such as the one you've posted here and I've started using – 50% animal protein/25%carbs/25%veggies plus eggshells, fish oil, flax) to an all vegan whole food diet. Of course super processed food made from low quality ingredients causes chronic disease and conditions – same in any body including humans. Are the vegan dogs here eating highly processed vegan kibbles? Or is commercial vegan dog food less processed/higher quality than animal protein commercial dog food? Is the animal protein the problem, or is the problem the low quality ingredients plus the processing into kibble? I'd love to see that research done. In the meantime, I'm cooking from the recipe you posted here, my dog loves it much more than kibble, and seems to be thriving, less itchy, shinier coat, etc. Thank you for your work here – I'm glad I found you. The lack of consensus about how to feed dogs is overwhelming, and you share what feels to me like science and common sense based information in a simple way. (I'm vegan myself and feel so much better since I switched away from animal foods!)

  18. I would like to say in my Opinion Vegan is a terrible diet and the reasons I say this because everyone believes that no animal products eaten is a good thing and I totally agree but the problem is food manufacturers have taken it upon themselves to add ingredients that are not animal based to a whole new level by using none animal ingredients to add to the processed foods they produce that are only 1 molecule away from plastic or can cause oxidants to form and create free radicals at the cellular level. You need to be aware of all these nasty ingredients as they will use them. I feel vegetarian is better and more healthy because of this. I see the vegan label as a reason to read all the ingredients. Eyes open vegans.

  19. I am sorry but I do follow the money. If a study is funded by certain groups, I usually know the outcome. Just like vaccine studies are funded by big pharma, studies like this will be highly suspect if they are not independent. You see, it is hard to bite the hand that feeds you. Dogs are omnivores like humans. Some people who went vegan suffered from allergies and nutritional deficiencies. The pro-carnivore diet humans so far said they are doing fine, but for me I need to have both meat and veggies as well as carb sources.

  20. Have there been any studies comparing the health of cut dogs and those that were uncut? The reason that I ask is that during the Human Genome Project, it was found that cuts in childhood mutates a specific gene and that then can be the cause of allergies and skin conditions. The scientific data was published in New Scientist, 7th May, 2006. Hence, I'm wondering if it is the same for dogs.

  21. I cook home food for my 2 dogs, 1 of them allergic to meat protein, so she can only eat fish. ( not all fish that she can eat, even salmon she can't eat, she only can eat white snapper fish. ) So i will add lot of veggies in their diet , hard boil eggs ( without eggs yolk ) bcauz 1 of the other dog has liver problem. he is ok now but still i will maintain clean protein diet for both of them like steam chicken breast , eggs white and brown rice and lot of minced vegetables like cabbage, carrot, broccoli, french bean , a bit of minced ginger. I really love your channel DR. Jones' and i learn a lot of things from you . Thank you so so much and I really appreciate your hard work.
