  1. You have been a pleasure watching, I have a 9 month old Akita inu and she has been only coughing, and have been giving her honey and water for the past 2 days and saw an huge difference in how often she’s been coughing. We’re trying the elderberry tonight, to help with the infection in her throat. I would love to see what products you have for all the fur parents out there. As the pandemic has hit our household so hard, and we would love to try natural remedies for her overall health

  2. Way to NOT notify pet owners in SoCal. These bureaucrats take $100 (unaltered) in dog registration every year but when it comes to outbreaks you won't get a freaking post card or an email out of them!
Unaware of this outbreak I went to the store to get kennel cough drops. Like a plague swept through all stores, all are out of cough drops.
What's wrong with you, SoCal? Why so much incompetence?

  3. I've a 1 year old black blue nose pitbull and he has been coughing and hacking for weeks and I've been given him honey mix with coconut oil but he is playful and ax like him but just coughing and hacking

  4. Hello from Slovenia😊🙋‍♀️
My dog yorki is 11 years old. Has an appetite, is active, happy, digestion is great. For a long time he coughed about 10 times a day. I followed your advice with honey and lemon and his cough decreased after one week of taking the syrup. Now he coughs for twice a day and less intensely than before. I also removed all treats that could cause allergies. How long can i give lemon and honey? This is probably a good sign that the condition has improved so much. What else could I try?
The dog has reverse sneezing since he was little. He has no major problems with this. In our country, for reverse sneezing, veterinarians when he was little said that this is characteristic of this breed. But I didn’t think 11 years ago as I do today..
    Greetings from me and Tejko🧡🐕

  5. I was watching this because I just got a dog recently and he is having some strange coughs and I think it might be tracheal collapse but earlier in the week we also thought he had kennel cough… we took him to the vet but they said he did not have kennel cough and just yesterday he started having some really bad coughs which are what I think might be a tracheal collapse. Also, coincidence ME AND THE DOG in the video have the same name! Pretty rare lol.

  6. Hello Dr. Jones,
Thank you for all the information it is very helpful but can I ask you; I have a 6 months Labradog and in some sources I read that do not give raw honey to the puppies is it right? Because at the moment my dog has a kennel cough which is diagnosed by our vet and I really want to help her with your suggestions.I would be very glad, if you can inform me..
    Thank you very much🙏

  7. I just discovered you and I’m so excited! I rescued my first dog about 3 months so everything is new and sometimes scary; I took her to doggie daycare and now she has kennel cough sounds like. I’m a little desperate because she’s frequently coughing up a white foam as well. It’s less than ideal on all fronts; is there anything I can do specifically for this? Thank you!!

  8. Can puppies have honey ? We just adopted a puppy about 9 weeks old. They sent her home on antibiotics as a “ precautionary” because another pup had kennel cough. But she now has a runny nose and one side has more of a snotty discharge and smells and she has one pill left of the antibiotics.

  9. I have 2 questions. Can you use a human thrush cream on dogs ears that have a yeast problem and can you give them olive oil in there food. Thanks for the channel it’s great 👍
