A lot of problems will be gone when its legal world wide . Why do most people not see this ??
A secondary problem w face here in NL is the ever growing influence of The EU. Even if we would accomplish legalisation, The EU in Brussels can stop it… its sad really, Although in my part fo teh country closer to the german boarder I have to say we have enough shops but indeeds there is no inovation, dabbing is not existent, and its like choosing from 3 to 4 types of weed and 3 types of hash. I would love to try out some Kush or Cookies or sour diesel you US folks are so braggin about.

Other places may have legal weed but Netherlands (esp Amsterdam) has tolerance, is friendly and many people feel comfortable there who don't fit well in the USA. Even without weed it is a great place and I think it is not a bad thing to reduce the emphasis on coffeeshops in Amsterdam because it was attracting a rowdy element and changing the character of the city – only problem is that they have closed some of the best establishments for completely arbitrary reasons !
If they're going to ban weed, ban alcohol. Simple as that. look at all DWI accidents, compared to pot. It's retarded, and all over green and I'm not talking about MJ.
This is exactly what we need in Amsterdam! I am a medical cannabis patient in the Netherlands and I have been trying to share this same kind of info with everyone. We'll win this war on cannabis!
