  1. Will Rao's puttanesca ever come back? It flipped me out when I tried it because it tasted exactly like mine. I mean it tasted like I made it. I never got my own recipe out of a jar before. What about a Rao's Ortolana sauce, with the tomatoes and eggplant and leeks and celery and squash and zucchini and carrots and a little goat meat. MMMM. A Dry red and a piece of bread and you're set.

  2. This sauce is the only one I buy. Trying to duplicate the marinara at home yielded a good sauce, but didn’t taste exactly as RAOs. What olive oil and what tomatoes do you use? Additionally, how log does it simmer? RAO’s sauce looks very light red, almost orange color. Also, is RAOs marinara sauce cooked with braised meat juices? I ask this because it’s not listed on the label.
