I'll tell you why it will never be legal, Teresa May's husband makes to much money from being licensed. Its the perfect scam, licence your mates, use the police to get rid of any competition by shutting down "illegal" grows.

They won’t ever let us grow our own. However if it was legal and they “controlled” what was on the market imagine the money the gov would make off taxes such as tobacco. They could even do something where to be able to buy it you have to pay and pass a medical off a dr every say 2year
I totally agree with your point in regards to medical cannabis users growing their own. I guess the legislative view is that in a similar way, I may have a prescription of codeine for pain, but this wouldn't allow me to synthesise my own codeine at my home. I still agree with you, I just assume this is the legal stance.

You know Drew, There is a war on drugs. They see THC the same as MDMA, dont kid yourself, don't try to give people hope, why even discuss it. Its futile. Just encorage, warn people of the risks, educate how to avoid detection, how to defend yourself in court. What to expect in prison.

Hey just to let you know I’m from Canada an no one buys the legal cannabis from dispensaries at least in the province of British Columbia. The dispensary cannabis is honestly garbage for BC Bud standards since we are used to the fire for the last 20-30 years. Everyone in the province of British Columbia still uses the grey market or source it from medical growers directly because the legal stuff is honestly garbage. A lot of dispensaries in Vancouver have a hard time staying in business a bunch have closed their doors because they can’t keep up with the quality from the grey/free market that BC has been running on for over 30-40years. Only tourists go into dispensaries in British Columbia.
Ideal situation: after reviewing the Amsterdam / California / Barcelona model
Legalise
18+ Standard low – medium strength / strains (THC/CBD) Flower, Hashish, edibles
21+ Higher strength stains and concentrates
under 18 medical only including CBD
Increase medical access
constitutionalize that 50% of what would be earned by the government in taxes and licences be placed into the NHS budget to give the resources it needs to actually function for the people, but power of spending this be placed in hands of independent panel exclusively in public interests

The thing with a 3-4 plant limit, you can veg a plant for months and grow it huge with many buds. Given long enough can make 1 plant yield like 10.

I would love to see a a small allowance for a grow but I just don't see it. I am a qualified horticulturist that can grow for the pharmaceutical industry but its still just still all about a few people getting rich with cornering the market.

I just hope they change it so company’s treat it the same as alcohol as a minimum. If I smoke a joint then 7 days later test positive I loose my job, obvs I’m not high tho. With alcohol is 24/48 hours. They should change the caps on the tests instead of 50ng should be like 200ng in the system.

You are actually allowed by law under the rights of human medical access to grow up to 4 plants for personal use it is recommended to speak to your local police station and let them know what you are wanting to do how much you growing once or twice a year and you tell them you don't mind reporting how much you got from it and you accept they will be making sure you are only doing it for personal medical use and not providing access or selling it for profit, officers are helpful and will allow small grows in a property with no children under 18 under the fair use act, if you would like any further information don't hesitate to ask I have helped many people get the thumbs up from their local council and the local police

America has some WIERD ass weed laws. 45 states have medical and 12 states are both medical and recreational. I hope one day in my lifetime its federally legal for both medical and recreational,but I know that's not how politics in this country works sadly
