  1. Would it make sense that if honey is a natural antibiotic it is still disruptive to the gut by killing off good flora like medicinal antibiotics do? Thus would necessitate repopulating with probiotics?

  2. I have heard of Manuka honey natural antibacterial but most animals especially pocket pets etc LOVE the taste and will lick lick making the wound more irritated. I had rat with stitches scabbed up and was super itchy I sprayed colloidal silver and she was a mess with infection. The thing with coloidial silver it covers wound and sticks and it’s very difficult to remove it’s like super glue . I’m thinking if skin can breath with that gunk on. I used high quality one especially for pets I wound never ever use that c$&@ again. Plain sterile saline water NaCl to clean wound and keep it clean and dry. Pets will lick anything you put on them so too further prevent excessive licking don’t put anything on. Even though there are various natural antibacterial manuka honey 🍯 ointments I would use them on animals for obvious reason. Humans obviously wouldn’t lick their wounds and we know it’s an ointment but to pets it smells good tastes good it’s just a yummy treat to lick off further irritating the wound especially if you have an animal that is excessive at licking of grooming itself.

  3. My dog has something green on his nose and the eyes are always with something 🙁
I take him to the vet, he did blood tests and nothing was found, just anemia
He is 18 years old so many vets don't care that much 😢
    🙁

  4. Hi Dr, my dogs ear infection has turned into a bacterial infection,In the past the amoxillin has cleared it up,but I dont have money to take her to the vet, please help,my dog is suffering.

  5. You are a rare doc these days! Most are just salesmen for big pharma! I've always stuck with Big FARMa to deal with my families health!
For wounds themselves (humans and pets) I always use the magic mix that is amazing…
-Mix up Epsom Salt and Glycerin into a paste, put that on the wound and it will draw out all infection! Works the best! Its a must have for any home, glovebox or camper.
    Cheers eh!

  6. How about for a regular size 16 lbs bambi face chihuahua's UPPER BACK MOLAR INFECTION? The cheeck is a bit swollen. Most likely he has an abscess. WHAT CAN I GIVE NATURALLY TO CURE THAT INFECTION❓
He had antibiotics last time it happened like a month ago, and infection now came back. Most likely i need to pull that molar out but it would cost $1600 which i havent been having for a year that he has this problem.

In Nov 2020 he had lens luxuation on one eye and had surgery that cost over $5000. Im running out of money for the tooth after that. He recovered extremely fast and completely. Even the surgeon was super shocked on how fast he recovered. Must be for the natural herbs and supplements i gave him, AND good organic home made foods hos whole life. Hes 13. Acts like a 5 year old. Super active and playful.

So giving antibiotics repeatedly is not my favorite idea.

    ⚠️ What do i do⁉️⁉️

And are u located in or near Los Angeles County by any chance? I would love to have u as my vet!

  9. The feral cat that I feed has been coming around with wounds on her head. The recent one is pretty bad 😔 She comes close for food but backs away if I try to touch her. I hope the honey will help her heal.

  10. Dr. Jones, can you please tell us which CBD you use? Seems like it's a pretty potent one since Tula only needed five drops. My dog is 12.5lbs and I have to give him 15 drops of the brand I use. That amount of oil can end up giving him the runs which makes him feel even worse! He is almost 18, so he tolerates fats less well than a younger dog would. I would love to be able to give him less oil with his cbd. I have been giving him CBD for nervousness and because he has recently been diagnosed with a perianal mass. This hasn't been biopsied. Neither the vet nor I wanted to put him under to remove it, given his age. I have a friend whose cat had a cancerous mass and the vet gave him two weeks. After trying cbd every day, eight months later, the mass has been steadily shrinking! After a couple of months of cbd and a Japanese mushroom blend for my dog, (not expensive!) it looks like it may be gone! However, he has some tenderness around his left anal gland. Do you ever do anal gland irrigation? That's something the vet had mentioned she might do. Thanks, in advance for your help to the community and for any comments you can share.
