Can Neosporin(triple anti-biotic) be used in place of Polysporin? Thank you, Bless you…for my Bella you are a Godsend. When I got her 3 page allergy report I almost lost it… the only thing she’s not allergic to is herself, but at times that’s questionable too. Your remedies give me hope & she tolerates them very well. I just want her to live the best life she can while she’s here with me, as chemical free as possible. My dog had chronic ear infections and we tried numerous expensive prescription drugs which didn't really help. Then we tried Zymox Otic Enzymatic Solution with 1% Hydrocortisone. A few drops, twice a day, for three to five days and the problem magically goes away. It's sold on Amazon.
Question, if we have problems finding polysporin is Neosporin alright as a replacement? I know it has the same ingredients as polysporin plus additional one. I know Neosporin is safe for dogs as long as it doesn't have pain medication added, but I didn't know if it was all right for their ears.
Here's the mix 🙂 for slow writers like me lol
1/2tsp~clotrimazole/Canesten
1/2tsp~1% hydrocortisone
1/2~Polysporin

There are also fungal creams for Athlete's Foot, that have the very same ingredients as Canesten does, and are cheaper. I've checked at pharmacies. 😉 (Women's products always cost more. [eye-roll] lol)
