Loved this. These dudes looked good in NYC. It's nice to see how West Coast styles translate on the East Coast. I really dig this three-man crew of Boo, Aaron, and Tommy. Good stuff right here.
if you're over 12 and still skateboarding you need to grow the hell up. its about the most juvenile waist of time on the planet. and you don't own the damned sidewalks! I swear, this is as bad as adult computer gamers. lastly, what's the point of a state legalizing pot if it allows portion of that state to keep it illegal? also, what's so good about legalized pot if its too damned expensive and a hardship for people to buy it! legalization is SUPPOSED to drive prices down! but capitalist thieves and profiteers have stolen our pot supply! it was more affordable with easier access when it was ILLEGAL!
20 years ago, when I was about 16 I remember me and my friends talking about what our dream skate sponsor's would be. As a joke, while taking a draw off the spliff I said "High-Times", and we all laughed and my buddy Alex said, "Yeah, they could hold contests at the cannabis cup and the prize would be free bud for a year. Or have contests like, who can hold in their hit the longest while skating a mini ramp" ,we kept up that conversation for about a 1/2 hour and ended it with us all sitting silent imagining such a sponsor with a "yeah right" mind-frame… The point of writing this is to show people how an idea that seem completely ridiculous right now, might be the exact idea that makes you a rich world renowned entrepreneur in the future. Had I known the validity of that truth back then when I had some access to one of the biggest L.P.'s (licence producer) in Canada, I might have been able to do something with that idea. In no way would I have been able to achieve what Weed-maps has, but maybe, just maybe, I would have gotten my "foot in the door" and have sped-up the process in some way shape or form. I also drew up a blueprint for a bushing almost EXACTLY the same as the now very popular bones bushings when I was about 17. I know whoever is reading this is thinking of an idea they(or someone they know) had that is now making someone else money. My mom had an idea when she was a kid that we all now know as the Reebok pump sneakers. SERIOUSLY KIDS! If you have an idea that seems great, TAKE THE INITIATIVE! …Or else you'll end up typing a super long "FYI" comment making yourself sound crazy like I probably do right now.
The edit is a masterpiece, and the skating is next level. Dope!
