  1. Beautiful story, beautiful people. Food is memory and when we pass down those special recipes we are honoring people who are never forgotten. Very relatable, makes me smile to see this amazing family chasing their dreams. I hope they get everything they have worked so hard for.

My dad used to take me and my brother to the 303 Halsey Street location back in the 90s when the father used to be front of the house boy do I really miss this place currently living in Florida and there's no place like it like it at all down here . Hopefully when I get the chance to go back up I'm definitely stopping there to get that shot barbecue like I used to!!

  4. Basic Cooking knowledge, tell the kitchen when ur low on something. like shout it out. ur bowl is low on collard greens, or mac and cheese,. just tell em!!

  5. Today's dads sound worse than women. They seem to focus heavily on their children. Men in my generation went out for beers and cigarettes and left the wife and the children at home. It seems not far from now men will grow tits.
