Idk I was smoking star dawg in Cali YEARS ago . Like I'm talking 2010 or 2011 they use to sell it at a dispensary in Sacramento California and had it for a very long time I wouldn't call it exotic for us old head smokers we been smoked it years ago
High quality cultivations of sativas like haze/dog are hard to find in California and end up being more expensive because they are a lower yield & thc than some of the new super sweet hybrids like runtz

Basically doesn’t matter either way until everyone stops white labelling seeds and flower we don’t know what anything is and stop confusing everyone with made up affects of “indica and sativa”. People need to specify between seed cultivars (big time variations) and clone only varietals. Most people don’t even understand that if you cross runtz x runtz, it doesn’t give you runtz, you can breed that back for a couple of generations to get something very close but it still isn’t the original runtz, so don’t call it that! Heck even if you breed the same cloned parents that made runtz its still not runtz.
