  1. Sweet video, I am thinking of trying one of these for the first time, never had anything like this when I was a teen haha, wanted to see a video to get an idea how they worked. Seems quite simple.
How long did that pen last you? How many drags on it did it take for you to get high? Basically how many times can I get high off of it haha.
Also the high, is it like smoking or like edibles or is it kind of its own thing?

  2. Can’t believe they robbed you of $55! I’ve personally seen these priced up to $25 here in Edmonton, so to see that price point is insane. I know this comment is months late, but when these dropped, my store sold these for $23 AFTER tax.

  3. Very thorough! Being from Quebec, Ive never had those vap pen and I was wondering where else in Canada I could get them. You did such a good job; your review discouraged me from buying it.
Ps: thank you for noticing the lack of french presentation and for spreading awareness about the linguistic law of our country.

  4. The reason why it says store in a cool dry place is because of the ready to go battery. Once that goes your pen is done. If it got too hot before you even smoke it once, it’s useless.

  5. I think Nova is so busy because there are so few shops to begin with and pretty much every town surrounding the city banned any weed shops from opening. They also have a nice looking shop and good staff IMO.

  6. Let me explain something to you all as a person who is about to start a legal marijuana company. The "grams equivalent" that seems to throw you off, is throwing you off for good reason, in that it makes no logistical sense and is government red tape at its finest. Let me explain: I am developing a 10mgTHC, 0.2mg CBD Cannabis soda pop. My 375ml bottle has a cannabis equivalent of a little over 5 grams. READ ON —>

THIS EQUIVALENT IS NOT THE AMOUNT OF CANNABIS THAT IS ACTUALLY IN THE PRODUCT, BUT RATHER, IT IS THE AMOUNT TOWARDS YOUR 30 GRAM LIMIT AS DEFINED BY CANADIAN LAW.

This means that if you are in possession of ONE bottle of DOOBIE CENTRAL cannabis soda, and 25 grams of dried cannabis, you would be over the legal 30 gram limit by just a fraction of a gram.

The amount of actual cannabis in ANY 10mg THC edible is yes, just 10mg. Thats it!

In perspective, if a dried cannabis is 20% THC (once activated), and assuming that the # of mg of THC in the edible are activated mg's, then 1 gram of 20% THC (that's 200mg THC) should make 20 x 10mg doses, meaning that the edible that you are consuming has just 1/20th of a gram of dried equivalent per 10mg dose. The same is true with the CBD. If a high CBD cannabis has 10% CBD, then a gram of dried CBD cannabis has 100mg of CBD, and a 10mg CBD dose is 1/10th of a gram of dried flower.

Each bottle of soda pop uses the EQUIVALENT of just 1/15th of a gram of actual dried cannabis buds in order to attain my maximum legal dose, but the product counts as a full 5 grams. Why? Because the bottle is 375ml. Yes really! If the bottle was closer to 75ml (and still 10mg THC, 0.2mg CBD), this amount would be much closer to a gram, but who wants just 75ml of sodapop. Furthermore, Even if I was to reduce the dose of THC from 10mg to 2mg, the sodapop would still be over 5 grams towards the legal limit.

I cannot make this clarification in the packaging either, as the law does not allow for this!

When reading this part of the label, remember: this is only the amount of your maximum 30 gram possession limit that you are actually in possession, based upon the governments weird formula (and thats all).
    I hope this helps.

  7. Great review. I have a few comments. The quantity of THC has to be listed in mg/g per the regulations. I don't think the supplier was intending to be misleading. Those 510 carts on the legacy market can come with as much as 1g. So, I'd say you were right to say the pen in the video was only about 1/3 full. The lack of french text on the label is quite surprising. However, there are countless examples of non-compliant packaging in legal Canadian cannabis. The rules around packaging are quite strict, and something that appears insignificant like slightly smaller text can be the difference between compliant and non-compliant.

Disposable pens highlight so much that is wrong with our throwaway society. Who is actually disposing of the battery properly? And since when is a lithium-ion battery considered disposable? The technology behind lithium-ion batteries is incredible (just think about a cell phone battery today vs. 15-20 years ago). Why toss it out after one use instead of charging and reusing? Consumers need to be aware and adjust their buying habits accordingly.

  8. a buddy asked me a question . i didn't know the answer . is the stuff in the vape cart. the same thing that they put on moon rocks . i have seen them made with hash oil, honey oil and distalet . he's made them b4 with winterized hash oil .?? do you know . there are vape carts with honey oil in it .

  9. Expensive ecological nightmare,we don't need to be pushing these at all! Much better to wait till legal concentrate is up for sale for use with a good pen. Another great review, thanks Kink Caradine!

  10. Before i was comfortable getting high and smoking bud I got a cbd disposable pen by feelcbd on holdenherb for an obserd price of $80 just to try and calm my insanely high anxiety that i was feeling daily. The oil leaked out everywhere after a little bit and i got about half the puffs I should've. It tasted good atleast? But I definitely prefer smoking bud even it tastes a bit worse and burns the throat more.

  11. I did not realize it was 800mg per gram. I have to go look at our vape products now to see what we're actually working with. Not a single rep has mentioned this. Thank you for this!
