  1. Going to try this for dog's recurring ear infection. The vet puts in a 30 day ear med, but infection starts coming back gradually just over a month later. This costs almost 150 each time and doggy is miserable.

  2. I live in the UK and am grateful for your tips. I can afford to take my dog to the vet but as you have said they always prescribe steroids which I dont want him to take long term due to the long term side effects

  3. You are an outstanding vet, wish they all had the same real dedication to their patients. Everything has become just business these days, big pharma included, and the cost of looking after our 4legged part of the family have been soaring for years. Emotional blackmail, that's what I call it. Thank you doc❤

  4. I used apple cider vinegar on my dog’s skin a few times, at a diluted ratio, about 10:1 with water. It stung way too much. I tried again even more diluted and that hurt too. Just FYI this might hurt. It did knock down the yeast though. You know because it has a smell. Coconut oil after soothed the skin. I use coconut oil or tallow on his skin and this helps. The vet checked it was not a yeast infection, it’s elephant skin/allergy skin that yeast comes in to clean up the sloughing skin and crusting. I think he has small mast cell tumors, because of small super itchy lumps surrounded by this elephant skin. He’s an old man GS 13 years. This is just part of his skin regimen.

  5. A question if I could get an answer please. I’ve taken my Shih Tzu to the vet twice but I cannot afford to no more. I’m raising 2 teen granddaughters on a monthly income. But my dog has a pinched nerve on his back. He’s dragging his right leg when he walks. Vet gave meds but they don’t help. What can I do for him? Vet recommended a surgery which is in another state for $8000!! I definitely cannot afford that

  6. Should have a warning on…..don’t try this at home. If the dog had a perforated ear drum, which you wouldn’t necessarily know, all that fluid, would not be a good idea and could potentially make things worse.
