I have it as well and it can be crippling. Nice to see him talk about it as actuall medicine for I also don't love having to be on it but feel I need it.
so weird i was also diagnosed with crohn’s recently and the doctors told me no smoking I wonder why I wish pete himself would talk to me would be amazing
I have Chrons and am not on medication, workout actually helps a lot and a clean diet. I was competitive athlete for long time so have discipline but now I feel weaker and sometimes just don't want to feel anything and wish I can afford to be high all the time. Pills don't help at all. Prescribed pills usually did much more damage than good for me
I agree with everything you said! I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease when I was 11. I was on so many different medications, and A LOT of pain medications, and A LOT of steroids for years straight, blood transfusions. I hated how it all made me feel. I didn't start smoking until I had my 1st resection, I was 18. I am no longer on pain medication, and haven't needed steroids. Marijuana is definitely a miracle sent from above! The medications just add to the depression.
Yeah Crohn’s disease is way more debilitating than people think because they can’t see the disease so out of sight out of mind. It really sucks being in pain after every single meal, then I start associating eating with pain. I don’t want to be in pain so why eat what’s the point. Weed helps so much with eating, feel less pain, no nausea, no acid reflex, and more. I’ve tried meds and they made me so much worse I would call off work once or twice a week, but with weed I can work everyday no problem and I’m just a happier person
Crohn's is an invisible disease that no one gets enough sympathy for. Most people are judged for constantly being tired or never having the energy to do usual activities, eating out is difficult and no one really understands. I respect Pete for making the choices he needs to to get through his days and do his job
Yes Pete, I totally understand u , although I don’t have crone disease, but I smoke too..anyway,private life should stay private, people don’t need to know too much especially in your position of a great natural brilliant comedian., professionally will be everything harder, u will be consider less and respected less.. keep it for u.. keep smoking and if somebody ask if u smoke punch him in the face😂😉👍👍👍👍
This video made me research under which circumstances weed is legal in my country because officially it's illegal (Germany). Found out that since 2017 it is legal when you can prove you need it for medical reasons (you need a doctor's prescription). I actually didn't know that before so thanks to you and Pete :)! There's even an online pharmacy with a whole catalogue of weed you can get via DHL if you upload the prescription. So if I ever get to know someone who has a chronic disease where weed could help I know it's possible in my country after all and can recommend it (I didn't think it was possible before, either I missed the news or the media has been very quite about it 😉 ).
I was diagnosed with Crohn’s when I was 17 as well. I’m 31 now and haven’t had a flareup since I started using weed medicinally, which has been over 7 years.
I also suffer from Crohn's disease and my Gastroenterologist has told me that there has been a lot of success in the medical marijuana treatment for Crohn's. I was diagnosed in 2004 and have been on every drug out there with little to no improvement and the side effects from the meds are sometimes worse then the disease. Has anyone else tried marijuana for Crohn's and have had good results?
Please reach out to me man I've had Crohn's disease for 4 years I smoke I know you're famous I might not be nothing to you but trust me dude we have a s*** load in common
It makes sense it takes it off your mind and can relax

Thank you for the laughs on SNL, Pete Davidson. I'll miss you. You will be an SNL legend for life.
Is that an anti christ Taylor swift shirt ?! 🤣
I have Ibd
(deemphasize reduce the importance or prominence given to (something))
(prominence {the state of being important or famous})
it would be a sound public policy for the police to simply deemphasize arrests for marijuana possession
Everybody who doesn't depend on weed or any other drugs in order to function in day to day lives, be grateful.
Marijuana save my life from brain tumors
I was diagnosed with Crohn’s when I was 11 years old! I am now a 44 year old pot head! You are fucking amazing!!!
so weird i was also diagnosed with crohn’s recently and the doctors told me no smoking I wonder why I wish pete himself would talk to me would be amazing

Crohns and weed go together. It’s that simple

I have crohns. I've had the same experiences.

So did he actually smoke real weed in the king of staten island
Respect Pete. I’ve tried nearly everything thinking of trying weed now or just asking for a stoma to try and get some kind of a life back!
I have had chrons since I was 18 and im now almost 37 and marijuana is the only thing that i can take that gives me an appetite
I’m a pothead that watches cartoons
Weed can save the world instead of synthetic prescription drugs
Please reach out to me man I've had Crohn's disease for 4 years I smoke I know you're famous I might not be nothing to you but trust me dude we have a s*** load in common

I’m in the same boat minus the fame as Pete. I have Chrons and weed literally has saved my life. If you don’t have IBD you wouldn’t understand.
