I do top at the 5th node and my Tropicana Punch plants are damn big. I did remove most of the lower growth. I do remove the blocking light fan leaves but tons grow back. I am using gaia 444 and 284 amended in my soil mix of 50% organic soil, 25% worm castings, and 25% of mothers earth 70/30 mix. Nothing but water, recharge, Rhino Skin, Voodoo Juice, Sensizym, and bud candy till pre flower. I then top dress at preflower with gaia 284 and a little worm castings then start using Advanced Nutrients Rhino Skin, Voodoo Juice, Bud Ignitor, Big Bud, Overdrive, Sensizym, Bud Candy, and flush with Flawless finish for both auto flowers and Photo plants. I also use Advanced Nutrients Sensi Cal-mag Xtra. Was using Roots Organic Bloom Trep Tea but stopped. Another killer nute is just using reefertilizer Grow and Bloom and some cal-Mg if needed.
