I grew up in pizza joints on the south side. NOBODY ever called it "tavern style". This is a name some hipsters came up with. It's just a Chicago Style thin. Before anyone argues with me about this, know that you are wrong. That is not how you make it, and eating pizza with ranch dressing should come with a fine and possibly jail time.
