LSD (Mazar I Sharif x Skunk #1) and Thailand Wild are the two Landrace strains (LSD being a mix) I currently have concentrates of from my dispenserary in CT. Fantastic.

Yo and Swazigold?
Yeah man
Landrace strains are cultivars that have naturalized to a locality, and which have bred unhampered to create a homogenous variety, acclimatized to the local environment.
That's why landraces have names that are place names.
Ruderalis means 'escaped from cultivation', and the ruderalis we know of today escaped at northern latitudes, and mutated towards autoflowering as a survival trait.
Very recently, autoflowering cultivars have been found the world over, where the plant is pressured to complete a life cycle by short seasons.
Autoflowers in their natural habitat can be Landrace strains, like the autoflowers found in Siberia. They are naturally on their way to being landrace plants.
Psychoactive cannabis, when gone ruderalis, or 'escaped from cultivation', goes back to it's wild state and becomes hemp, because the psychoactive cultivars are the result of recessive genetics.
They display randomly from hemp populations.
I personally know of, due to knowing all the people involved, a landrace strain of cannabis grown in a portion of Virginia, that was the result of a government hemp production program. The old man growing the hemp found several psychoactive plants and his sons bred them together to create a strain of cannabis everyone liked and which they sold for over a decade commercially on the black market when people found out what they had. They grew it out faithfully selecting parent plants for then next season from a big field of plants.
A few years of bad (careless) breeding and the strain was lost forever, but I still hear people mention it years later.
A landrace shouldn't have to be managed, but if it is acclimatized to an area from long periods of cultivation and breeds true, it qualifies for the badge.
Almost always however, when people use the word landrace, they are referring to long season plants that produce much less than today's popular hybrids.
Older smokers remember fondly the flavors and tastes that existed in cannabis before it became necessary to grow cannabis that had no smell, grew fast, and had chunky bag appeal.
Todays strains are the result of breeding programs that should never have happened.
Afghani has been my favorite strand ever since I was a teenager and I'm 49 years old now I love it and I actually like the new string called afgooey
The correct name of the strain is "Lambs Bread"
Not Lambs Breath or Lambs Beard or anything else
I'm living in Thailand and grow Thai Buddha and Thai chocolate. 100% Sativa Landrace. Best weed 👌
Malana cream 28-32% thc , india.
Definitely got the top 3 right, but maybe instead of putting 3 different Afghanis on the list, we could have like a Columbian Gold or something. Idk.
Lamb's Breath or BREAD, not beard 😆.
Congolese??
not even close to a top ten list
I love LandRace strains. That’s usually what I try and go for at dispos. It’s hard sometimes

No mention of Philippine landrace strains from Kibungan, Kalinga, etc? So many landrace strains from the Phils. Thousands of islands means thousands of strains that is isolated from crossbreeding
So I guess the 3 original Colombian landrace strains don't exist 🤷 "Cannabis Experts" lol
I’m hoping someone might know ;
I’m on the easy coast of NSW, Australia, and I’m growing 2 ABC/Mongo Weed indoor under a 100w full spectrum UFO. My understanding of the ABC (Australian bastard cannabis) is that it’s a ruderalis, and has been crossed in the past quite a bit but bred back several times also, and there is a lot of confusion between mongo and abc also. They both look the same give or take, and absolutely awesome in that they don’t look like cannabis one bit. My 2 have their first couple of true leaves, and are leaning heavily on the abc look. Very unusual looking strain. But who knows. I’m also under the impression the abc was a landrace of Australia? I’m not 100% myself, and have tried looking for information only to be met with the same stuff I’ve read before and with no answers or explanation. Anyhow happy growing and smoking 🙂 🙂 🤘✌️🤘💥🤘💥🪴🌱🪴🌱

Temper at 3500F for 100 hours with no OXYGEN putting pressure against ATOMS. There are 'shells' around ATOMS that a special BOIL shatters. In nature it was QUARTS that melted covering metals absorbing shattered shells that created SAPPHIRES, GARNETS.

Swazi gold? Is the best sativa in Africa
Is lambs breath a auto flower strain or did I misunderstand you? Anyway, hallo from a rainy part of South Africa, we need to teach the new generation the importance of keeping our landrace lineage alive!!
