  1. You did not live until you tried to make the crust with Breton shortbread biscuits ("Galettes Bretonnes"). These are French cookies made with oldschool churned fresh butter and a dash of sea salt. I did it with the St-Michel brand but any brand will do. It was worth the price!

  2. Next time don't make it in a pan that allows the crust to be so vertical in height. It just makes cutting it a nightmare, it's going to fall apart. I'd go with a more shallow pan. Easier to cut and plate.

  3. I was laughing with you when you cant count it. I always look up to MR Google for measurement. any pie crust with walnut or pecan is yummy.

  4. I’m truly not a fan of bananas but there’s just something about the combo of all those ingredients that tastes so darned good! I had to substitute the walnuts for more cookie crumb sprinkles or I’d be spending the night in the ER but it was a hit with the fam and I have a request to make it again so this is what I’m doing right now.   5. Had to laugh about the custard skin, as a young ladd….mum would always leave mine uncovered , I absolutely loved custard skin…..pudding skin,,luv your show, great entertainment and intense enthusiasm
