to be honest the bubbler is probably all you need the bigger pieces seem like overkill to me. But i guess thats just how i feel compared to how i smoke bowls.

I used the XL for a couple months. It requires a lot of maintenance. Before and after use. If you don't run water through it after it freezes, it will clog up because the resin adheres to the frost inside the spiral tube. The base is thinnand fragile. It's cold on the lips without wiping the opening with water. It will still burn the back of your throat after a couple inhales.
I found that a three chambered bong does a better job with cooling then smoke and there is a lot less maintenance.
I use a piece of paper towel like a filter, in between the bowl attachment and the bong. This keeps the inside of the bong 10 times cleaner. No small pieces of bud get into the water and the resins build up a lot slower.
