Green Jelly was also on The Gong Show. They lasted maybe 30 seconds before getting "gonged" which was actually their intention for playing the show in the first place. Hilarious.

I'm pretty sure I read that Maynard and Danny Carey from Tool used to be members of Green Jello, in which case, exceptionally talented musicians/artists have played with them or been a 0art of them.

I will never forget about how I heard of this band I had just turned 18 Going in to a strip club for the 1st time And the Speakers started blastingThe lights started flashing in a dark room It was the hard guitar solo in the beginning of 3 little pigs Whites were flashing smoke was blowing in my face and I see this beautiful womanStarting to do the craziest dance on the Pole It looked like such a crazy party and I was kicked out because I didn't haveThe cover charge lolIt's a memory that is so stuck in my mind I will never forget
There would be no green jello if it wasn't for GWAR. Dude is super nice though. In '97 The decendents recorded a video at his space. I wax 16 and happy to just be apart of it.. we were "the crowd " and worked for pizza. He was going through his props in the back and we struck up a conversation about art. He gave me a bunch of weird foam props. I don't know what happened to them I must have lost them somewhere. I didn't even know who he was until he told me. But what a nice guy to connect with some random teenager with an orannge quadhawk and talk to him like a normal person, totally humble and inspiring. It makes me happy to see him here.
