Great video! The only thing I can suggest is to keep the inserts last longer to not drop them right into iso while they're hot. If this is done over and over it speeds up the chazzing effect because it degrades the quartz due to slight thermal shock. Same goes for your bangers. Just wait a little longer until it's like 250° or less and should be about good to drop in iso. But everyone is different and some people don't care! Just thought I'd share the info! Honestly love the video before this I didn't even know why using a insert was a thing besides buying like ruby or sapphire inserts, but soon as you said it keeps your banger clean and pretty much new forever I immediately felt stupid for not realizing and was amazed! Haha thanks for the info man!

I take it a step further…I can get decent quality quartz inserts for about $5-10 each. I have about 15 of them. I load a fresh insert for each dab. After dabbing, I let the quartz insert cool, wipe it with a cotton swab and then put it in a jar of grunge off. The next morning, I grab the inserts out of the grunge off, rinse them with warm water and they are ready for battle! So easy
Just bc u use an insert doesn’t mean ur nail will be spotless forever lol. Heating and cooling millions of times still will make ur nail have that sucked on smartie look after lots and lots of dabs
So my Evan shore titty banger is black on the bottom of the banger bowl facing me because of over using it. Never knew inserts were a thing, thanks so much. Any idea how to get the banger back to clear? I know I can torch it; but can you use a droplet of water on quartz without cracking?

Quarts still devitrifies over long periods of time with repeated heating and cooling. This is due to particulates in the air as well as fingerprints and difficult to remove reclaim on the banger. This will extend the life of the banger for a very long time but even if you never dab and just heat the banger a few times a day for no reason it will still slowly devit. The best way to avoid this is to never overheat the banger to red hot. You don’t have to heat the banger red hot to achieve a good temped dab, you just have to fudge around with the wait time.
