  1. Hi! I already do the baking soda and coconut oil but had no idea we could give our dogs essential oils! Is this ok for any peppermint essential oil (i.e. my peppermint oil from whole foods) or do you recommend a specific one? Thank you!

  3. I was told NEVER use baking soda on my teeth as it is very abrasive and it is, so I would never use it on myself or a dog. I do not like the taste of it so my dog would never accept it no matter what I mix it in and peppermint essential oil, is that safe, what is in that?

  4. Is baking soda & coconut oil safe for cats for teeth brushing? My little man has gingivitis & has sensitive stomach issues when we use pet toothpaste. We've been brushing his teeth with a baby toothbrush and only wetting it with water.

  5. Hi Dr.Andrew, my dog has composite resin restored on his fractured tooth, I'm looking for natural alternative from chemical toothpaste due to them being too abrasive. Can he also use this combination and will Propolis harm his composite resin material? 💖Love from Malaysia!

  6. 🤣 yea, it ain't easy. I put the paste on a small gauze pads and rub. My dog seems better with my finger in his mouth than a rough GIANT STICK (his perception). Thanks for the reality vid.

  8. Can you do one for cats? I struggle so much brushing my cats teeth. They clamp their mouths closed and I'm so scared to hurt their gums when brushing since their teeth are so small, it's a mess. Could you suggest a toothpaste for cats since they can't have essential oils too?

  11. Hi Dr. Andrew Jones. I read that baking soda can be too abrasive for the teeth and damages the enamel. We've been giving this to our pups but do you recommend every other day or is it safe to give everyday? Thank you!
