  1. Would this be safe to give a dog that had a bout of pancreatitis a couple years ago? I know she needs the fatty acids as he is on a low fat diet. I bought your advanced formula powder and am working up to a full dose.

  2. I have a little 10 pound applehead chihuahua. He started itching constantly. I have ordered him pro biotic treats meanwhile I've been giving him CND for dogs and that seems to help alit. CBD is a natural inflammatory as well. CBD helps for so many things. I give my dogs CBD for anything that may come up. I'm trying the liquorice as well.

  3. Hi Doc, my Keno has the same exact problem. More than any other dog I know and I give her 1000 mgs. Fish oil daily but maybe I should up it. I'll try the curcumin and licorice tinture. I started giving her Dr. Marty Goldstein allergy supplement. It contains omega 3, plant phytosterols, thymus gland substance, quercetin dihydrate, stinging nettle and salmon cartilage protector and but isn't cheap. I'm at my wits end and after a week is still chewing the feet. So I'll get back to you on the curcumin and licorice, thank you so much. Peace.

  4. Im trying the coconut oil in her food. Nova is a shepsky 64 lbs and lots of itching so I warmed 1 tbs coconut oil and poured on her food I sure hope it works she itched so heard her ear is swollen and went to the vet and is on steroids for a couple weeks and has the cone of shame so she is miserable ..

  5. Great video.
We have a Poodle , 18 months old, she has a rather sensitive digestive system. Right now we have found a good balance in her food we give her .
Not wanting to upset the proverbial apple cart but having to deal with her itching , my wife and I are hesitant introducing anything to her food.
Your recommended supplements sound logical , the dosages seem rather large to be given all at once .
Past experience with our “Hound “ shows a tendency of her either getting constipated or the opposite , .
    Any thoughts ?

  6. Ya my vet feels like they are just handing me the end of a string .. my dog (American Pit) Luna is getting injections for what they say is a ton of allergies which she never had until that same veterinarian hospital Vet gave her some other injection and he was fired not long after that.. not because of my dog but for some other reason I don't know.. her paws would break out bad skin cracking, webs red and swollen .. found that a home remedy for that works great.. soak her paws in a small pool 30" dia.. with 5 gals water and 1/2 cup bleach.. 15 mins a night. and it was amazing after just one week… Vets are so expensive.. 300 dollars for a shot and office visit.. I mean shit.. I go for a shot at my Dr and it's like 150.00 .. I'm like WTF is wrong with this picture.. then the Vet who is suppose to help.. gives you these pills and some drops.. and YOU have to do all the work .. hell just look at shampoo for example.. my dogs shampoo is 15.00 a bottle 10oz.. My personal shampoo is 2.50 for a 20oz bottle.. lol Thank you Dr Jones.. can't tell you how much your time and videos mean to us who can't afford the vets bill every month..

  7. I have two bichon frise and they both started to scratch like crazyyyyyyyyyyy, today I gave them a nice bath which lessen the itching, but still scratching.
I would like to know if I should give them omega 3 fish oil pill that you purchase at your local store or do I purchase it a pet store.

  8. I started out to try one thing and evaluate….ha ha. 8 month old German Shepherd. And it’s not even intense! Now she gets some stuff ( me too….inflammation….why not) everyday and we shall see…. I’m am literally poor so I hope what I find to help her/us is cheap! I have 5 other dogs don’t need a damn thing another German Shepherd included. It’s a minor problem considering what your kiddos can present with but yeah it makes them anxious….and I sure wouldn’t want itching ! I’m gonna fix it. It’s pretty common and she’s not even that bad…… poor kid

  9. Thank you for sharing your fantastic tips! My dogs are definitely benefiting from these remedies. I do have a question..Do you think BMD should have their stomach tacked?? No history of Bloat. Is ir better to feed dogs with bowls high or bowls low on the ground?? Thank you 🐾🐾❤

  10. I have a cat that the vet said his scratching was an allergy & gave me some meds for him!Thank God I don't like meds & only gave my cat a quarter of the recommended pill dose!My furbaby almost died!So after having moved from a carpeted apt.to bare floors for a good 8 months my cat didn't scratch anymore! But now his scratching is even worse!I'm at my wits end!I tried coconut oil which helped in the past but this time seems to only have made things worse!Getting any 'foreign' substance like a supplement….forget it!I tried every trick in the book & then some-it will not go in!Would rubbing something on his body rather than trying to get it in him help?If so what & how much keeping in mind he will be going crazy licking the stuff off!

  11. Before I changed my dogs diet and supplements, I tried cytopoint at a cost of $80 and lasts about a month. It worked fantastic but at that price I decided to work on his immune system instead. Besides immune supplement for dogs; I use fish oil ( break open a pill and squeeze it on his food) ; coconut oil added to bone broth (plain: no onions or garlic) heated then frozen in ice cube tray, then reheated to pour on food. I pierce a hole in the ends of 3 pills and sprinkle on his wet food __Tumeric; carnosine; and Taurine. Use just enough that he doesn’t turn his nose up at it. I top his food with a dusting of dehydrated buffalo liver to make it irresistible. Before I bath him, I rub Neem oil all over his skin, then anti itch shampoo and a diluted vinegar rinse. ..a lot of work but saves me $80/ month . Like the licorice idea but have not needed it so far.

  12. I have a Newfoundland so I struggle to bath him myself. I bring him to the groomer every 4-6 weeks and brush in between. Any suggestions that I can use on his SUPER ITCHY skin that I can apply and leave on by chance? I already feed him Omega 3’s every day and it isn’t helping. 🙁

  13. I take circumin and ginger, it has pepper. Is it effective without the pepper? I’m also taking glucosamine that has both in it and fish oil. ACV, me, 2. So seems like a big jug will work for the cats, dogs, rabbits and me❤️

  14. I have a chi-weenie, and we've tried everything except a complete allergy testing. We've changed her food, tried different probiotic chews, changed treats, aloe and oatmeal baths. I've tried the coconut oil, apoquel, Benadryl, anti-anxiety meds, and nothing seems to be helping. She constantly chews and scratches. The last trip to the vet was because she had a skin infection from all the chewing, so I don't know what else to do. She's a miniature breed, so she only weighs 6 lbs. Any suggestions?

  15. I'll give these a try. Sheena a pug mix and Bud is a lab mix. It seems Sheena's back and tail are dry and itching and poor buds hind legs are red all over. I haven't found any fleas or ticks and their diets haven't changed… so I'm thinking it's environmental!? I feel so bad for both of them!!
