  1. i smoke hemp wraps and i like a chunkier grind but i use a kief catcher to have a little something to to add every couple of months but if i packed cones more often (raw) i would definately want a finer grind

  2. Brought 1 these. Is great pros: dusts it up well, rechargable. Lasts ages, big storage can hold 3.5 ground easy. Easy to clean with iso. Cons: glass so have to b careful, better for home use. Screwing onto glass, bit finicky at times. Build up of tricomes on glass.

  3. My preference is the Santa Cruz recyclable hemp grinders with the kief catcher. They are very cheap and strong as hell and grind the herb perfectly, just the right amount of fluffiness and fine. Alibongo sells them at a really good price, I was introduced to these by a friend and I haven't looked back.

  4. i have a chinese copy of a 4 piece space case grinder, its 4 years old and probably sees 2oz a month if not more, i have cleaned it thoroughly with iso once after maybe 3 years and that took me maybe 30 mins max. i scrape the teeth in it like maybe once a month for 5 mins just to give them the sharp edge back, thats it. it cost me 6 quid delivered, so we're looking at £1.50 a year cost so far. it would hurt my soul to be buying and throwing plastic ones, i hate chucking things if theyre decent still, feels like putting money in the bin and for what? my own laziness? my time is free, the money to buy the things is not. it's a no-brainer to me.

  5. As you asked, I have a capu grinder, which is around the £120 mark, made and engineered in Germany. I love it! It's the only grinder I'm aware of that holds a patent for its unique design. They also have the world's only (that I known of) hash slicer, which is another separate section you can add to the regular grinder, which currently has a patent pending. Those Germans take their shit seriously and for those of you who like seriously opulent stuff, they do a pure titanium version for €600, no really.

I think your maths is pretty poor to be honest drew, I get that it's a personal preference, each to their own and all that jazz, but at even £1 every 3 days, that's still £120 a year. I couldn't justify throwing that much money away myself.

I don't find that I need to clean my grinders out so often that it's a hassle, once or twice a year, at approx 1 ounce being grinded per week.

  6. I’ve just ordered the Qubus grinder it’s not arrived yet but after hours of research I think that its the best for me, if you man are searching for a grinder that’s super customisable, smell proof, waterproof and built to last, check it out✌️

  7. I use the Herb Ripper XL 4 piece. 100% stainless steel. It comes with a medium plate which is a fine grind, not super fine but a beautiful grind, perfect for vaping but also joints. I would never go back to those cheap plastic grinders that are bad for you and the planet.

  8. my step dad gave me a metal 3 piece hash grinder that says i love amsterdam on it when i started smoking like 5 years ago. he bought it way back in the 80s from a guy he used to grow with that owned a head shop, grinder is over 30 years old and is still being used today with no problems. doesn’t grind my bud up very fine because it’s meant to be a hash grinder. but simply due to me being used to this grinder i refuse to use another one even if it’s better haha. the reason i don’t use 2 piece plastics is because this holds more sentimental value than a piece of plastic.

  9. I used to use those no.1 grinders for years cause I’d always lose them or have them taken 😂, I bought a good 3 piece one in Amsterdam the first time I went and collected as much dust as I could for the last j and I’ve used that for about 3-4 years now I’m back using the no.1 cause I prefer them I still have my 3 piece though I didn’t lose that one 😂
