  1. So timely. My dog just got bitten today during our early morning walk by a stray. He got bitten in his right upper limb and now resting. I worry coz he was limping tho. Any visual signs I could look for if it hit a nerve or so?

  2. 4 years ago one of my shitzus was mauled by a pitbull mix and ripped up pretty bad. Lost an eye, and was never able to see out of the other one. This entire system is a joke, we find out later that our dog was the third one attacked by this particular pitbull, the owner had a court ordered muzzle order he was defying when his dog attacked mine and he was out walking him off the leash. The vet bills are another story, which this clown paid less than half and then stopped.
The irony of this situation is you'd be in significantly more trouble if some clown broke into your place and your dog took a piece out of him. It's a wonderful world we live in sometimes, isn't it!!!!

  3. Last year, a dog (chow/German shepherd mix) jumped out of a car window and attacked my dog and me. I saw it hitting the ground (the car he was in was at a stop sign) and we were right there.I picked Molly up (soft coat wheaten) and started spinning with her held as high as I could. The attack dog was banging me in the side as I spun. About 70/80 pounds. It managed to bite Molly’s hind leg and broke it, plus a couple puncture wounds to her tummy. A neighbor guy tried to beat it off and it bit him on the forearms and one hand. There was blood everywhere and it took a few minutes to figure out the damage and who was bleeding. I took Molly to the vet and all totaled, the cost was over $700 for her and about $150 for my neighbor’s doctor bills. The owners did pay all the bills, but we found out that dogs are just property and we couldn’t press charges. We did talk to an attorney, the HOA and the head of this county’s humane shelter. A car is considered a house and you can’t force someone to muzzle their dog in their home and you can’t force anyone to keep their car windows up. No one could do anything. This same dog has attacked another neighbor dog and another person. The attack dog still lives in the same house and we see them out walking it from time to time. There’s definitely something wrong with this picture. Laws do need tweaking. I’m with you!

  4. How can I keep the little ankle biters from attacking me on my walks? Many people take their dogs off of the leash in the hiking woods by my house. Big dogs seem fine with me, but the little dogs growl, bark, and nip at me. I haven't met a little dog that hasn't come after me.

  5. My mom was in the backyard we have small bread dogs 3 dogs jumped the fence they were pitbull and killed my yorkie badly hurt my Maltese the only reason they didn’t hurt my mom it’s because the neighbors saw what’s happening and try to help 😣
