Very informative video. Hate fake terps too. My favorite concentrate is hash and I prefer smoking to vaping. I make some rosin and have chazed many a banger due to left over plant material. I have purchased many good grams of bho in the 15 to 30 dollar range and it vaped cleaner than 60 dollar live resin. Happy Friday keep it green
Let's be real anyone would choose rosin daily if they had the pockets , I've had budget budget rosin make the best greendot resin taste like mids and I've had cheap budget resin beat top tier rosin, it's all hit or miss and all about your pockets imo
Budders has time, knowledge and history. I bet you will not be smoking that when you get older. I liked it more when I was younger, and it was new. Now I would rather just leave it than take a dab. But, maybe that is just me. To each their own.
The removing of these fats and lipids also remove the possibility of the very valued entourage effect that you get when smoking bud.

Budders doesn't really give a shit. Budders is old school and could not care less about any of that bullshit. For those who do, good for you. I just don't think it is possible to get the entire entorage effect doing any kind of concentrates that you get with real, natural bud.

There was a YT video I saw some years ago by a commercial grower in Colorado, can't remember his name though (he's really into bubble hash), and in the video he showed how if you dissolve rosin in ethanol there would be there weird stuff floating around that wouldn't dissolve which looked like it came from the parchment paper, and it concerned him as to the safety of rosin. Said he did'nt use wax paper. It didn't seem to gain any traction though as I haven't ever heard of anyone mention it. Great vid!

I just prefer rosin over resin because the pure thc extracts are just to mentally exhausting for all day smoking a true full spectrum is needed to keep a consistent high all day and the resin full spectrums just arenât the same always going to be missing something plus if you are a home grower no point in making resin just simply easily to do rosin and way cheaper for the average grower
Couldnât agree more I find live Resin and some resin in general to to cleaner and better tasting than rosin and I press my own rosin and also make THCA distillate with the Rosin. Rosin is $100 a gram or more here in Vegas if you can find it and I can get three grams of BHO for $50

I smoke equal amounts of both, but nothing beats a full melt bubble hash. I have some GMO bubble right now that leaves the banger cleaner than most rosin.

to me ALL BHO has a gassy kind of slight chemical taste to it. dont get me wrong i love some well done sweet tasting BHO but on the other hand ive had home grown from seed to rosin before and man the taste is so different.
to me a huge hit of rosin feels almost like a mouth full of caramel feels… no chemical/gas after taste at all and as the vapor moves down towards your lungs it just feels like a rich pleasant experience when to me BHO is more harsh and i can always pick up on that gassy chemical taste.
Rosin is my bread and butter, when i am doing well i have 3-5 different strains of rosin that live at my dab station.. but every few months i will get a few BHOs i love weed i just prefer rosin more.
Interesting and fair points. However as someone who owns a personal press, sometimes rosins canât bring out new terpenes that the flower or bubble didnât even express.

I have only been smoking solventless for a few years and it tastes soooo different now to smoke anything else. I just don't like anything but solventless at this point.

Yeah rosin has more of a fresh press they do it on sight it's a very cool experience i like it but they're top top shelf 120$gram wtf but I cam get it for like 45 or55$ but i get live budder it was made with bho n propane oh i hate fake Terps. There are a lot cultivars that don't wash well or squish well, some equatorial jungle varieties and African landrace cultivars are fantastic flower and do make exotic super tasty hash. The yields however can be VERY DISAPPOINTING where made using separation methods.
These yields often increase exponentially using extraction.

I understand the price but only to an extent (it shouldn't cost THAT much more than Live Resin). The quality of Rosin wins in my opinion. Either way, the price to quality comparison, Live Resin is my pick at the dispo!
I've been processing bho since 2010 Rosin since 2015 nonstop. Strain, grow & harvest play a major part in the terp profiles that come out of both processes. I will take properly made rosin from the right strain that's been grown right and harvested right over BHO anyday. I will also put my hash rosin and flower rosin up against 95% of the bho out there when it comes to terps and quality. I run live as well as cured flower as I am doing research to find out the differences in curing processes and times. I have a GMO cut that does best when cured and ran as flower instead of fresh water hash. I get 35% returns and after a 2 week cold cure it is sublime with a unique terp profile that is alot different from the garlic it started at. A real terp explosion.
good points man. i'm all about rosin but i also like bho, just like trying everything. i would say invest in a press and take control of that part of the process. it's more fun that way and you can save a lot on the dabs if you have good starting material. I see some rig setups on your desk that look like they cost as much or more than a personal press so you obv don't have an issue investing in your dabs.
