  1. lol I was just talking to my daughter yesterday and saying hey maybe we’ll have some bacon and I’ll cook it up on Christmas. I do not like bacon but my kids love it. I mentioned the dogs would like it. Sorry puppies no bacon for you but you can have some scrambled eggs.

  3. My dog once ate a whole tub of xylitol candies, thankfully we knew the dangers and were able to get him to an emergency vet quickly. He's alive and well years later and I always preach the dangers of xylitol. Thank you for sharing!!

  4. Natural sweeteners or sugar free??
    Or contain sugar alcohol?
    Buyer beware!!

Shame on the companies that know dogs cant have peanut butter with xylitol etc.
Wonder what these ingredients do to humans🤔

  5. Question. My beagle Bentley, is a very allergic dog. He gets serum injections once a week amd Apoquel, daily. I have him on “sensitive” food. My daughter received her certificate in holistic treatment for dogs. She suggests giving him apple cider vinegar, a tablespoon in his water. I don’t know what else to do for him. We live in Vermont and he is allergic to every grass in Vermont plus rag weed. I don’t want him on antibiotics, steroids for ear infections! Help! I won’t quote you. Lol

  6. I'm so afraid of my dog accidentally getting xylitol that I won't buy any food with this ingredient except perhaps an occasional dental care product. There are many people living with me and I can't be certain that someone won't share their snack, especially the one with dementia.

  7. Thank for spreading the word especially xylitol because my Alaskan Malamute Dotty ate 36 pieces of chewing gum and went into a seizure within minutes. Luckily she was taken to the vet in less than 10 mins from ingestion. If we went out for the day when she stole the gum it would have been fatal!!!!!

  8. CAUTION: Correction regarding grapes (or raisins!), DO NOT WAIT to see if your dogs has GI signs.

Not every dog vomits in the first hour. If you know that your dog ate any amount of grapes, it is SAFEST to induce vomiting AS SOON AS POSSIBLE in a controlled manner at the Veterinarian to get the grapes out as soon as possible. This can help reduce the chance of kidney failure.

Andrew is right that grapes (or raisins) are toxic but some very important nuances are missing and this information could save lives

  9. My baby passed away yesterday with multiple organ failure and they dont know why, but he has been having severe anemia we tried to feed him beef and other blood reginerating foods, he seemed better a couple of days then back to bad, (i forgot to tell you it all started when he was sleeping beside me and suddenly gave a big sigh then stoped breathing, but i gave him cpr reaching the vet in time) the vet said its a seizure due to anemia but i doubt it because he didnt have anemia when we tested his blood a few months before, he did have a heart condition but been ok with his medication for past 2 years. A month ago we gave my baby the travel vaccine and i remembered he was restless for 15 minutes then was ok i didnt pay attention to it, can it be the cause that lead to his passing? Please doctor give me a closure.
