3Chi Delta-8 THC Black Raspberry Gummies Review

In Japanese, the symbol “chi” represents “life force” or “spiritual energy,” but it most commonly translates into “energy flow.” When it comes to your health, the flow of energy and clairvoyance is extremely important. That’s why 3Chi made it their mission to create an enormous lineup of products that contain CBD, CBN, CBG, and Delta-8 that can help clear your mind, focus your thoughts, and restore balance to your daily life. There are so many impressive products from this brand, but today we’re going to review one of their Delta-8 THC products called Black Raspberry Gummies!

DELTA-8 THC GUMMIES – BLACK RASPBERRY

Personally, gummies are my favorite way to take any form of medication like vitamins and supplements because they’re soft, chewy, and usually fruit-flavored. 3Chi certainly understands this way of thinking because their gummies come in several different flavors: regular, watermelon, and black raspberry. I’m a sucker for anything with berries, so naturally I went with the black raspberry option.

I chose the sixteen pack gummies, for a total of 400 mg of Delta-8 THC, which goes for $29.99 on the company website as a one-time purchase. The net weight is 46 grams, so it was easy to carry these gummies in a bag, pocket, or purse. One thing to note is that on the packaging, the recommended serving size is half a gummy, but the website says the serving size can be either half or a whole thing. If you’re trying this product for the first time, you should probably start out with just half of a gummy. 3Chi does not recommend taking more than that unless recommended by a doctor. When I actually tried the product, I popped an entire one in my mouth, assuming that the serving size would be a single gummy. This shows how important it is to read the instructions on anything before you consume it, something I will definitely pay more attention to in the product. However, consuming the entire gummy did give me a wonderfully heady high, so let’s jump right into the review and check out the actual product.

Product Review

As we mentioned earlier, 3Chi’s gummies come in a small black plastic pouch that houses sixteen gummies. The bag was easy to open and I peered into the bag to see the shape and scent of the gummies. The gummies were about the size of a Starburst candy, and were soft and spongy between my fingertips. I stuck my nose into the bag to try to detect the flavor and was met with an awful plastic scent of stale oxygen. Upon checking their website, 3Chi is aware of this unpleasant smell and reassures the user with the following statement: “Don’t worry, your delta 8 gummies are fine! [the smell] is due to the oxygen pack doing its thing within the bag. Your gummies shouldn’t absorb any of that flavor, just let the bag sit open for a bit and it’ll go away soon enough. You can remove the oxygen pack as well if you’d like.”

 

I decided to trust the company and popped one of the gummies into my mouth. I was delighted to discover that the gummies were wonderfully soft and chewy, with a distinct flavor of sweet black raspberry. There was no trace of hemp flavor while chewing, which surprised me since sometimes there’s a strong hemp flavor with other brands. I noticed that there was a very slight bitter aftertaste once I had swallowed the gummy, but it wasn’t anything unbearable. The flavor was absolutely delicious, and I instantly wanted a second one. However, I knew that too much Delta-8 in one sitting can cause unwanted side effects, so I begrudgingly put the pack away. I noted that the time of my first gummy was at 10:31 PM and expected to feel the results within an hour. However, after an hour had passed and there was no change, I checked the back of the gummy’s packaging, only to discover that the gummies can take up to 4 hours to kick in. I did my best to stay awake until 230 am, but unfortunately I fell asleep at 1230 and did not experience any kind of heady high. Since the packaging said the gummies may take up to 4 hours to kick in, I decided to try again and take the gummies much earlier.

 

My second dosage was taken at 9 PM and I busied myself with other things to distract me from waiting. Around midnight, I fully felt the effects of the gummy and let me just say WOW. These things are POWERFUL. I had difficulty keeping my eyes open and noticed a slight tinge of redness in my eyes, also known as rabbit eyes. I also felt a warm euphoria uplift my senses and relax me wonderfully. I also noticed a heightened sense of touch, especially in my fingertips and toes. There was a light pressure on my sinuses (very gentle and not at all unpleasant, much like what happens to me with a marijuana high), and a very light dry-mouth sensation (which I quickly rectified with a swig of water). The high lasted for several hours, allowing me to drift into a relaxing slumber that I awoke from in the morning, feeling refreshed. The high was deliciously smooth and left me feeling euphoric and relaxed, yet still allowed me to wake up in the morning to my alarm.

 

I realize that every user will react differently to this particular product, which is why it is very important to follow instructions, but also listen to your body. If you are sensitive to THC or are uncertain of its effects on you, start off with a small dose. Make sure you are in a safe environment and can enjoy the high for several hours without needing to work or operate a vehicle/machinery. Once you get more accustomed to the Delta-8 THC high, you can really enjoy the effects of Delta-8 without anxiety or stress.

Hemp Information

3Chi’s founder possessed 15 years of hemp experience, allowing him to focus on cannabinoid research for all the cannabinoids, not just THC and CBD. In September 2019, his research allowed him to create a pure version of Delta-8 THC from hemp. This allowed him to create the United State’s first federally legal form of THC-dominant products, something that has not been ever done due to the prohibition of cannabis. 3Chi’s hemp products are 100% hemp derived, high-quality, and are lab tested to ensure this quality.

Product Packaging

The packaging was very professional and aesthetically pleasing: gold, white, and purple lettering on a black background. I loved how the very first thing on the back of the pouch listed the amount of time it would take the gummies to kick in, something that isn’t commonly seen on Delta-8 products. There was also a table that listed nutritional facts like serving size (½ gummy), calories, carbs, and sugar servings. The ingredients list was clearly listed in gold letters: glucose syrup, sugar, distilled water, pectin, natural and artificial flavors and colors, citric acid, and sodium citrate. There were also stern warnings to not operate machinery or drive, age and health restrictions, and to keep out of reach of children. There was a recommendation to take the gummies on a full stomach (or to eat within 10-30 minutes of consuming the gummy) for best results. There was no expiration date listed, but Delta-8 THC gummies usually retain their potency for up to a year.

CONCLUSION

3Chi focuses on all of the cannabinoids of the hemp plant, not just CBD or Delta-8 THC. Their enormous selection of products features both of those cannabinoids, but also CBG, CBN, CBC, and THCv. Their variety of products includes vapes, tinctures, oils, concentrates, isolates, and edibles like cookies, brownies, and cereal treats. The 3Chi website is easy to navigate, is professionally designed, and offers a wealth of information at every click. Each product has a lengthy description with hundreds of reviews, directions, warnings, and effects.
