  1. Anyone can get these five basic ingredients in most major cities with a Whole Foods. The issue is the technique of cooking the eggs and cheese to perfection and getting the right consistency of the sauce. This guy has probably cooked it 500+ times and makes a hard technique look easy. 99.9% of the Italian restaurants in the U.S. eff-up this “simple” recipe or just avoid it altogether. Cooking a perfect steak or turkey is way easier than making carbonara.
