Ahh sure wish you would respond DR!! Now my Noah kitty has a terrible URI .. the cat I adopted .. was just getting over … this issue .. BUT he was still sneezing!!!! So now Noah is dealing w this !!!!!!!!! 🙁 Adopting a cat that I had to give back is ending up costing me over $300!!
Dr Jones .. I adopted a cat for my older cat, Noah, as a companion .. but Noah was not happy about this at all, he actually got sick .. and started to have diarrhea .. throwing up .. and even blood in his stools ..
He was barely eating at all ..was tho still drinking water .. I took him to a vet and they ran tests ,, no problems at all in urine and stool sample that I took to them .. didnt get the blood work back yet .. but the vet prescribed Metronidazole, Flagyl, because of the diarrhea,, which I dont understand because tests showed no bacteria and no issues at all .. Noah took 2 doses ..and today he is much worse … not eating or drinking water at all , and seems dizzy and out of it.. I called the vet to tell them and they said to continue w the Metronidazole.
I am into all natural remedies .. and sure would love ur help here .. I took the other cat back to the shelter .. I read that a cat can get really sick if unhappy about a situation and the vet said this must have been the problem that caused all of this .. Please need ur help
My little guy 14 years old (Gino Shih Tzu) rubs his ear constantly (vet said nothing wrong), has been twitching day and night & has issues with his legs. He licks them constantly. I was giving him Dynovite for about a year now. I realized it may be related to the Dynovite, after I took some vitamins and my joints and limbs now show signs of RA. I may have needed other vitamins and minerals to replenish what the others had depleted. What can I do to help him? I rescued him from some pretty abusive ppl when he was 3 1/2 years old, so he deserves not to be in pain now. He has sever anxiety from that abuse. If I leave a room he yells a horrible sound. It breaks my heart. Any help would be so appreciated.

Oh boy I learned this the hard way. I was prescribed Apoquel for my dog’s itching, but it lowered his immune system and he had a stroke from an abscessed tooth that his body couldn’t fight off. He survived, and doing well, but man, these meds can be deadly.

Hi doc, wanted your opinion on steroids for dog that has a growth on tummy. Our vet recommended that, but i just started my dog today on dandelion tea and also am rubbing castor oil on the lump. Hi. Recently bought a sphynx. I could see his back bones when he came home big boy for his age. He eats little and dosnt play. I thought it was because it's a new home. I bought him of a good breeder that has a fb page. I have other cats and sphynx they're all playing. He's lying down opens his eyes to look .he's 4 months . He has bones sticking out on neck back and hips. But his stomach is enlarging. Pot belly. I'm worried it's Sunday . But he's had kitten milk iv syringe him and he's eaten solid food Gormet paid alot for him but they didn't insure him. Iv looked on your videos for antibiotics. I'll try them. But what do you think is wrong with him. He's getting worse. It's 2 o'clock in the morning on Sunday and can't sleep.
I am giving my two arthritic dogs cordyalis, boswellia, turmeric, fish oil, a Chinese herbal formula for knee pain and gabapentin. No more carprofen. The fact that I have to get labs done twice a year in order to get an over-priced and potentially dangerous prescription seems counterintuitive. Thanks for the heads up on that study.

Dr Jones do NSAID's hurt our dogs stomachs like they do ours? In your opinion should I have My 19 month old Collies Sebaceous Cyst removed or not. I know in Vet school they say yes so they make money. It has had a fine needle aspirate and nothing nasty. Been told to use Sudocreme but it is just clogging up her coat. It is on outside right hip and not bothering her. Thanks 🙂

i always try home remedies first for my animals and i hate taking meds like when i get a migrain i put peppermint oil first most of the time it helps if it don't then i might take a advil

Ibuprofen is the worst! Simular to afrin nasal spray and albuterol inhalers there are retroactive side effects. Meaning they help the inflammation then after a period of time create the inflammation. Sad.
There are many natural ways to combat what ails you and your pets. It takes research, great advice from others educated in natural remedies and a commitment to stay healthy.

Stray Cats have anything anti biotics unless its essential… There is always another option … You have to work hard to find it…. Thank you for confirming what I thought…. I sort of knew… I spoke to a Vet in Lixouri,,, I live on Kefolonia a Greek Island. Hence 9 stray Cats…. No wonder I have no money… So what,,,,,. That Vet reminds me so much of you,,,, He has a heart and doesn't make much money he does it for love… I was telling him about what you said about curcumin for Allergies etc…. Very good people and animals need to be checked if medication is needed for conditions or can we go to natural alternative or can we just put up with pain or a little inconvenience from our best friends and ourselves..? For instance my 13 year cat Apple he member of Banfield gets blood work he was treated for urinary infection it took 3 weeks of antibiotics got ruled out ,than he developed an issue where he was lifting himself in the box well aspca passed a free X-ray which didn’t show anything about it than I asked them for a sonogram they refused that . Than the vet of Banfield gave him a med did nothing finally I bought a covered Litter box kept giving him hills cd well it just yeast that swelling his penis 3 years later he alive so I feel we can just put up with it not try to change it I for one drink water eat healthy avoid grains use essential oils I want to have the right to feel pain and my cats if they do little things too just put up with it not kill off all their good bacteria in their gut natural remedies better

I have a male German Shepherd dog who is 5 years old and he's never been mated with other female
He suffers from urinary dog incontinence and this was his fifth time that he was diagnosed with the incontinence
In the early 4 diagnosis the vet said he had bacterial infection and gave him treatments accordingly
When he suffered again the 5th time I found your video and give him natural home remedies which give him relax for 12-15 days then again the problem occurred and now my vet says that his prostate is enlargened and surgical castration is the only permanent treatment…

Several of these common mediactions can be dangerous..Some years ago i had tooth ace and hoped it would pass if i just took paracetamol for a few days.. Well – it did not.. What i did was to land my ass in hospital . I almost died. The paracetamol poisoned me and my liver was hardly working..There were nothing they could give me or do – they just had to wait and hope for the best.. I got water to flush and special food because they were super scared that it would be the last drop before the liver shut down completely.. Luckily after 2 weeks in hospital i could go home..
