  1. There us a natural product called Wondercide that repels fleas and ticks. Also 2 shampoos I use, Ecology Works pet shampoo has been oil in it. The other one my Allersearch has tea tree oil. Both are natural. Regarding heartworm meds,I give it to my dogs from June 1st-December 1st to give my dogs systems a rest.

  2. Great video as usual also pet food is going up in price fast the food I feed my dog was $21 for a 4 pound bag last year now its $29 what's a good over the counter medication to treat dogs with ear infection ?

  3. I thought you would be pleased to know that I am in Quartzsite Arizona camping with a whole bunch of part-time and full-time nomads. Yesterday they did a talk about caring for pets on the road. A lot of the talk was about using alternative treatments to care for your pets. Hibiclens, specifically was mentioned for cleaning wounds, and also wiping down your dog as a cleansing for any viruses or bacteria they may have picked up. Thought you would like to know that ideas like yours are spreading and are saving people a lot of stress and money. Thank you.

  4. I can attest to the increase in Vet costs. I just got home from taking my dog for an annual check up, had back teeth hand scaled though …saved me $$ on a dental which he had last year, anal glands and nail trim $185, took 20 minutes total. luckily he is in very good health and I have pet insurance just in case. Thanks you for your videos. Has helped me out on some doggy issued that I was able to solve myself with your help, p.s. I use a Holistic Vet and I think it’s very comparable cost wise.

  5. (HUG) We love You Dr Jones, lost my beautiful English black Labrador, he was so beautiful and loving. He was sick for just a week. Between the vet bills, blood tests, the emergency hospital, more blood tests, it cost us a fortune, We gave him all his vaccines, Advantix, etc. I wish I had known how to help him at home, I wish I kept him at home, wish we had a holistic Dr like you. God bless you, you are a blessing to all our pets, thank you!

  6. I feed my dogs raw meat. They do very well
I have a Lab/ Springer cross who will be 19 in March. ALL my indoor pets as well as ourselves eat home grown food !
I see a negative health pattern in animals from store bought grain filled pet food . I have seen the life come back to my pets ten fold going back to the basics .

  7. You are more than likely a small animal vet .
For those of us who raise livestock , the new changes will hurt us .
Minus a degree , many of us have been hands on involved with treating our animals ourselves through the help of our vets for decades! So don't assume we all are dumb when it comes to treating our livestock and to know when to call the professional.
We have medicines on hand or purchase them at a feed store when needed or cannot obtain it from our vets because it's 2 am on a Sunday night! Sometimes treatment has to be done then and there not Monday IF you can get in!
As of June 13 , it is my understanding I won't be able to get items such as penicillin when it is needed.
    I am taking about cattle , horses , sheep , goats .
Some medications I have to obtain directly from my vet! Luckily , she stocks me in case I cannot get see her!!!
I have a combined 45 year relationship with my vets , these gals are the best in the business!
The government can go to hell

  8. I think I like this prediction list better than many others this year.
DE – check, even in the yard.
    Quick story re amoxicillin.
Many years ago, the first time I ever saw that medication, the pink liquid, it was prescribed for my cat. The very next time I saw it was when it was prescribed for my newborn.
My thought was, holy crap, they're trying to give my baby cat meds.
Along with honey, I use colloidal silver.

  9. Feed your pets a good quality food. My Aussie is so much healthier on her raw diet. Skin issues are gone! I give her garlic and ticks don’t seem to like her. She gets rounds of DE in her food to keep the parasites at bay so her immune system can fight. Prevention is worth a pound of cure.

  10. You’re amazing.Thank you Dr.Jones. I have both my dogs on your ultimate omegs 3 and ultimate advanced canine. I’m so grateful for all your videos and I have a notebook full of your remedies.Thank you a thousand times times forever. Both my dogs are full of energy silky shiny beautiful hair and always at my feet waiting for chow time.

  11. had to leave home and help mom for 5 months and my cat got horribly sick and not 1 vet in the area would see me and all said not taking new patients sorry you have to leave.that's when I found your channel and the remedy worked and he's fine now.THANKS!.

  12. Could you speak more about Lyme disease labs, treatments. My dog was Dx w/Lyme years ago and now has new onset seizure d/o years later at 9. Wondering if the two are related. The Lyme test for people is not reliable it’s concerning as this disease manifests in different organs long term.
Thank you for all the informative information.

  13. My confidence in your advice comes from taking your advice and seeing it work. Love of animals was the reason you became a vet, I'm sure and that love put you on the path to us! It's been a real help to those of us who love our pets, who care for them holistically. Thank you for your dedication, Dr. Jones. 😊

  14. I took my 12 year old beagle to my vet office. They said he need heart worms test . Ok how much 70 bucks and the test sent out. The year before it was 40 bucks. Then vet exams my dog, said he has 4th grade heart murmur. I told yes that what the former vet told me two years ago, but my dogs on special diet. I told her he on Q10. She told me that doesn't help. Then she said we need to do 500 hundred dollar exray on his heart. No we will not and no I don't want heart worms meds.
