  10. I'd need a photo because dark leaves can be nitrogen excess, magnesium excess, sulfur excess, phosphorus deficiency or even copper deficiency.

    Best way to balance everything though other than adding more neutral soil is to do a slurry test and check soil pH. If it's low (which it usually will be if it's high nitrogen or high phosphorus) you can lime your soil with dolomite lime.

    If it's excess magnesium soil pH will be high and you can lower it with neem cake.

    If it's phosphorus deficiency using some soft rock phosphate or some manure compost will usually help.

    Once you top dress to adjust pH hit it with some microbes to speed up the break down and help balance out the soil.
