  1. AS an avid YouTube watcher, I am frustrated (Borderline annoyed) when a youtuber asks me to subscribe or click the like button in the beginning of their video! Why in the world would anyone "like" let alone "subscribe" to a video before watching the video?

  4. Veterinary secrets how can I email you and talk to you about my long haired chihuahua he was diagnosed with chf on 7-23-22. He wieghts 11 pounds and is on four drugs. Benazepril,furosemide,vetmedin,doxycycline oral susp. I also have a female short haired chihuahua

    Do you have certain food recipes a person should use to make homemade dog food or a good store bought dog food

    And what supplements can I give him and not give him.
    Also how can I keep my female chihuahua healthy all around

  6. All these herbal remedies you have shown.are something that I would get to start giving my baby girl. I have a 10 yrs old Maltese .she was diagnose with stage 4 chf.she just starter furosemide about a few weeks ago. She seems to not taking it well for about a week. But now she's has been doing better. She drinks so much water, which I was told is normal for the medication she is on.. Just 4 days ago. She started drinking more water then the past few weeks. And hasn't been wanting to eat at first I thought it was the medication .since I switched her from tablets to oral furosemide. . But rhen I notice just day for yesterday she was notooking very well.. So we took her to see her vet.
    She told us that, what she was dwaki f with has nothjnf to do with her chf.. She has a cd
    Cold of some sort. She had been shaking like age light of had a fever .doing this gulping like swallowing. Thing with her miuth.kind of like she had some draining of her mucus. Fro. Her nose.
    Her nose is dried and does hav3 mucus .much more thicker then it would be if she was having some kind of fluid build uo.the vet told ua.sge has her on antibiotic to help her get over her cold.
    But I have been looking at many of your vjdeos. And see that you use and all about a lot of herbal medicine for does with chf..
    I want to know what can I give her. Since her kidney levels are border like at the moment and I have been giving her pedialyte to keep her hydrated .and broth a chicken. With rice.she still dosn't want tkeat on her own.but has taking some chicken.a few bits . With the broth several time ..sometimes I sort of have to force her to eat. Once she taste that shell eat what I given her. Has shown more like she is really hungry and eats what I give her.bbut again just a fee little bits then she wiwalk away

My little Maltese had heart worm and suddenly one evening she let out a loud scream and collapsed on the ground, breathing quickly and shallowly, she slowed drifted off into unconsciousness, and died a few minutes later. I was not there to witness it, and I’m glad I wasn’t cause I would’ve been traumatized. She was the sweetest and I miss her very much. RIP Maisey Lou January 18, 2011 – April 12, 2021.

  9. Dr. Andrews, my Chihuahua was diagnosed with mild heart murmur. What that means when the vet says mild? It could be 1 or 2 grade? He prescribed Enalapril, however, I make a research and this pills has a bunch of secondary effects. I make a decision to treat him naturally. So I just got CoQ Ubiqinol 50mg. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks

  11. Can an enlarged heart cause front leg swelling? My Italian greyhound has a heart murmur the vet said stage 5, she’s 14. She got a swollen left elbow a few weeks ago and now it’s spread to the left leg.

    The vet said she sprained her elbow and it has a weird click sound but she’s walking ok except now for the swelling. X-rays and blood work were clear.

    They gave me 2 pain meds.. she’s been on for 2 days.. nothing has changed. Can it be her heart? The enlarged larger could be seen in the X-ray .. thank you!! Want to help my precious puppy! ♥️🐶💞🙏🏻🥲

  16. can we give CoQ10 with Vetmedin? This information is amazing God bless you for sharing it. Im going to be giving my baby girl salmon oil and wanted to give her coq10 as well but the vet prescribed her vetmedin and I wanted to make sure it can be taken together. Thank you 🙂

  20. I've gone to several vets over the years and they've all misdiagnosed my 10 year old Terrier until I actually detected it myself, took it to a new vet and it was confirmed. All of those delayed years could have caught this earlier. I guess I just trusted vets so much that I respected their expertise. It just makes me so sad I could cry.

  21. A vet usually first notices a heart murmur during a routine check up, when that happened we decided to take my dog to see a specialist veterinary Cardiologist. From there he had echocardiograms, blood pressure monitoring etc.. A dog's murmur is staged, from 1 to 6 (I think)…..there can be a long, long time (years) between murmur from early MVD (Mitral Valve Disease) to Heart Failure & then Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) neither of the last two may ever even occur, the dog may die of other causes. However, some dogs progress very quickly, sadly, especially King Charles Cavalier Spaniels. The cardio vet must check your dog regularly & at each stage (your dog will need yearly or possibly 6 monthly checkups later on) for medication changes & additions as it progresses (the drugs used to control this are varied depending on how fast or how slowly it's progressing – each drug is introduced gradually) done by a Veterinary cardiologist. There are supplements that can help – Omega 3 Fish Oil capsules (not salmon oil) is most important, but also helpful are: Ubiquinol, D-Ribose, L-Arganine, Green Lipped Mussel, Propionyl L-Carnitine, vitamin C, (please look at supplements yourselves) but do tell your dog's cardio vet what you're planning on giving your dog too! X Hope this helps.

    Hopefully you see this comment. My dog Horus is 10 years old & 50 pounds. Two months ago I was informed he has a small heart murmur and an enlarged prostate with benign cyst. The doctor told me to just keep an eye on his current condition. I just ordered CBD oil 300 mg, coq10 100mg and Dandelion leaf. I was giving Horus fish oil 1000 mg but after a few days he had diarrhea. Once I stopped giving him the fish oil capsules, diarrhea stopped. Should I give Horus 500 mg of fish oil? Also, can I give him all of these herbs at once? I’d appreciate any feedback. Thank you again for helping us!

  26. Thank you.I have a question, my dog is a mixed breed rescue, 14 years old, 51lbs. Was just diagnosed with congestive heart failure – enlarged heart and fluid in his lungs. I have dandelion 1,575/serving (3 pills)- is it ok to give him 3 pill/day all at a same time? Please advise. Thank you.

  27. My 6lb Maltese taking spironolactone benzazepril furosemide and vetmedin for year now. I'm worried about that potassium and just her taking all those meds but its keeping her going. If wheen her on these natural rememdies if I can do both then just natural.. my almost 19 year old chihuahua was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and the bun was 117 2 months ago and taking 2 meds himself. I stopped both and just gave farmers dog and doing (great) knock on wood

  28. Can dandelion tea be given with furosemide? My dog is at a high dose of furosemide and my cardiologist wont recommend anything natural. Typical Doctors. They only want to pump them full of meds. Also is cbd oil safe to give dogs on heart meds?

  35. Yes,I was giving canned tuna high sodium. Trader Joes had low sodium but real meat was better. Lazy me started taking him for short walks where I let him stop and smell all he wanted instead of trying to walk fast w out stopping to sniff every rock. He prefers leisurely walk sniffing tge big rocks anyway.

  36. My Shorkie Tzu was found with a hearth murmur and lung inflammation. I got medicine and antibiotics but dr. Ask me to think about Euthanasia. I was heartbroken 😔.

  37. my dog is on ferosimide, vetmedin hydrocodone for coughs and sidanifil. Can I give add'l supllemenets to help stop the coughs they are getting stronger. with all the meds can I give the coenzyme and fish oils. I am not sure about adding the dandelion because already on ferosimide. How can I give my dog more potassium because it gets lost a you say. Can I still give nettle tea with my 9 lb. poodle even if on ferosemide. thx doc
