Hey matty if you are reading this, I am a massive fan and avid cook myself, you are a huge entertainment and inspiration. I am also a massive fan of Ladyhawk (I know you're friends with them) and passionate musician. I was wondering if you were still in contact with them and if so, do you know if they have any plans for the band (gigs, possible new content etc). They are extremely inspiring to me as a musician/guitarist and helped me through some hard times. I know they haven't ever had a large fan base or mass appeal but it would mean the world to me if they released anything new or if I got to see them live. You probably won't ever read this but thank you.

I feel that I just have to articulate some criticism here: as a very long time follower of Munchies content and fan of Matty Matheson, this particular video has gone beyond the pale. The product placement, overly ironic hip-ness, and synthesis of atmosphere is not very enjoyable at all. It will take some time to recover from, and it's been playing on my mind for days already. Perhaps Action's show – even at its most hit and miss – showed how this formula could and should be avoided. I hope for some more 'original' original content from Munchies in the future.
