All of my dogs ate the Avocado 🥑 meat Forever and I also pour the oil over their food! Who in their right mind would give them the pit or the skin? The pit itself is a chocking hazard for all of us!

I learned that avocado is actually great for dogs… not the pit that's a choking hazard or the skin but the avocado flesh is too beneficial to pass on

From what I understand, the cyanide in apple seeds is minimal and can help prevent cancer. Now this info was given for humans. We can eat all parts of an apple except the stem.
my guys get avacado meat when i have them i also give them fermented carrots with garlic. excellent for their gut. blessings
The avocado meat is safe. The skin and pit is dangerous.
Doc, I would have thought that you would have been more awake to the apple/apricot seed benefits. Very disappointed.
All 5 of my dogs love raw carrots. I discovered that when a slice fell on the floor as I was chopping some for dinner. One of them snatched it up and ate it so I tried giving a slice to each of the other ones and they all ate it. Now I buy extra carrots just for them.
Just cooked up carrots and green beans for my bichon, sure it helps her stay fitter she walks for miles (with short breaks) and runs around like a puppy. Thanks Doc btw you're still brilliant!!!
You should specify that the "meat" of avocado (the part that humans consume) is perfectly safe for dogs, and quite healthy for them in fact.

Apple seeds are fine as are apricot seeds. My 14yo. Standard Poodle has been eating them twice daily for 6 years.
What about cooked onions?
