1. My german shepherd, Duke, absolutely loved the water. He'd run through the water at side of street after it rained. Dad had a lake on his farm and Duke would jump off the pier and seim around. Dad had Dukes brother and he hated the water.

2. You bet!, our last male rotty just Loved the water, he would rattle the gate to be let down to the river and would play in the water for hours

3. My dog loved the water so much, he is the reason I bought a house with a pool. I specifically sought one out that had a pool. He has passed on so I threatened to sell my house, but my other dog seem to love the water too. Now I'm stuck with taking care of a pool for a bunch of mutts ❤

7. My GSD used to go crazy getting in the pool. Left gate open, in she hopped. I miss her.

8. Taught my hubby's lab to swim by gradually toss his stick further in the water until he realized he only had to turn and go back the way he came to touch bottom. Now that dog is grown and goes after every bobber or musky bait I cast ruining my lake time

   Yes, my great dane cross, mad chihuahua and my black poodle boy love to throw themselves into the billabong in the forest next to our property.

   Buster only throws himself into the billabong if he sights a water dragon; and then I have to hastily attemp to stop him; not that he'd ever be swift enough to catch one! I just don't like the water dragons to feel afraid in their own home.

13. My 2 American pitties couldn't wait for me to open our pool or when I came home from work. They both knew that I was putting on my bathing suit to go swimming. They loved the pool so much 😍. I miss them both very much. Absolutely love this short. Made my day and brought me back found memories of my sweet pup's. They were crazy like that too.

15. Romeo, my little rescue Lhasa Apso, walks into the water then lays down in it. Good luck getting him to come out until he's good and ready! Lol

17. My Pom Collie is a hunter / herder but likes splashing around in water but not actually swimming. My older boy isn’t really interested.

19. I watched a vid on YT recently about how dogs, sometimes while swallowing water during play like this, actually breathe it. In the video the owner noticed immediately when the dog collapsed but some in the comments spoke of their experiences with their own that had to find out through the vet that they were essentially slowly drowning. Just something to watch out for!

20. I have a beagle mix who hates water so much that he refuses to get out of the car if I park over a puddle. 😅
