Where I live, a dog gets a rabies vaccine, then a booster a year later that is good for three years.
I have seen a sudden decline and death in two of my older dogs within a couple months of getting the rabies vaccine. My six year old coon hound got lymphoma around a year after getting it. Can't say whether the vaccine was a factor in any of that, but it has made me suspicious.
Where I live in Kentucky, rabies is rare but definitely not unheard of. The law here requires the rabies vaccine for dogs ( and, I think but am not sure, for cats). A dog in my town was taken to the pound for quarantine after nipping/ biting someone . He had had a rabies shot a couple years earlier but it was just a one year shot. The dog died at the pound , not sure why, he may have been left with a muzzle on. The family sued.I don't know if it has gone to court.
I have a 13 year old dog that acts like a puppy! He has had very limited vaccines and won't be getting another. He did get two shots for rabies in his lifetime as it was required for him to travel to Canada a few years back with us for the 2nd one. He got only puppy shots besides this! He is the healthiest dog we have ever had! He runs like the wind still and people ask me how old my puppy is. My daughter moved her dogs and cat to Hawaii. They made her give them multiple shots…the older dog died! The cat didn't register proper vaccine reaction in her blood so they DID IT AGAIN! The cat was young and she was able to take it to Hawaii after that….I don't agree with over vaccination for humans or pets….certain vaccines are a one time deal! Rabies? Oh goodness….you are proof that 15 years later its still in your blood…what more do people need to hear? I hope they pay attention because this is all about MONEY….the medical industry is having a field day with all the over vaccination in our country…they get rich! Rabies is such a low low risk! Yet its required over and over and over for pets…most live indoors?? Money, money money….that is the reason!
Personally, my hesitancy has always been from decades before 2020. I was damaged as a child and knowing that they don’t administer different doses for large and small dogs/ breeds had me shaking my head. It seems completely outdated that they believe this. Without a doubt not every person or animal can have the same amount of food, let alone medicines. Medical errors are a huge problem in western medicine and one of the top reasons for death, your telling me they do better on animals, I seriously doubt that.
Our awesome neighbor and dog sitter told us that about 1/2 of the dogs she watches have to take anti seizure medication every day and about 1/2 have to be given diabetics medication of some sort. This isnt just a few dogs, easily over 100.
I decided not to give my last three dogs continuous vaccines after a vet said they were not needed and would cause health problems. Well, those dogs lived to 14, 15 and 18 years old. I am so thankful for that vet many years ago. And now with my two other dogs, they will not be getting anymore vaccines past the initial ones they got.
I heard that all dogs get the same amount of vaccine regardless of their size?!?? That doesn’t make any sense and can’t be good for the small dogs. Thanks for reassuring me that I’m doing the right thing not getting my pups vaccinated annually,
I read a study done on tetanus shot on humans and the doctors were told when someone came in with insurance to push the shot if it was passed time so the doctors got together at this big teaching hospital and researched and never found a case of anyone dying not getting that vaccine, I started doing alot of research when I got RA
Dr Suzanne Humphries, MD book called "Dissolving Illusions" & also the book "Turtles All the Way Down Va.ccine Science & Myth" opened my eyes even further about what we have been told for decades is NOT true.
I felt this way when we took our 13 year old Terrier for his shots this year. We have to have a current rabies tag on his collar, so we are stuck- especially if we want him seen for other issues. One thing they did do is a heart worm test, which was quite expensive. This was completely no needed because we are consistent with our heart worm prevention medication.😡 My husband was the one who took our dog in, and I had asked for an x-ray of his head and neck area because our dog has started gagging, like he's coughing up an imaginary hairball. But instead, she suggested we try a cough medication and see if that helps, so no x-ray. I wanted a definitive answer concerning his trachea, does he have a collapsing trachea? We also started our dog on anti-inflammatory medication, Carprofen. That seemed to help a lot, in addition to giving manuka honey to soothe the throat area. Now, we are giving 1/2 the prescribed Carprofen, plus the honey, and we have moved to a softer diet. Our dog is running around, enjoying walks again etc. Thank you so much for this channel!
Big farmas motto is profits over pets and people. Just evil!
Twice after getting the rabies jab my cat developed mast cell tumors, not a coincidence and no more jabs for him🤬

THANKS DOC…love your courage in this sick world…
What I don’t understand why the practice of checking titers is not a standard as a requirement for repeat vaccination or booster dose. 0:01. 0:01 0:01

Because the medical industry seeks to kill and destroy.

My vet had no problem writing a va.xx exemption for my 12 yr old rescue dachshand who probably already had way too many va.xxs in his life.
