  1. If growing up my father had been smoking pot on a daily basis, both his life and the life of my family and I would be far better than how it has turned out from him drinking vodka everyday. Decriminalise cannabis <3<3<3

  2. I grew up with a mother who is either borderline or narcissistic. She smoked weed everyday and I thank god she did. With those personality disorders, she was argumentative with me as a child, and it was awful, such as fights every single day, and I was NOT a bad kid. Anyways, I thank weed for saving me from more aggressive, physical behavior, it genuinely improved the quality of my childhood by chilling my mother tf out.

  3. My family was victimized by Kentuckys cps. For those that don't know. 3000$ for each kid, for each move. And if u think it's just the removal…no. They will make multiple placements to maximize the money provided by the Safe Families Act. Bill Clinton signed it. It generates money for the agency. Not direct payments to social workers, but with the amounts that change hands by foster placements, it's ripe with kickbacks. They tried the soft approach to me at first, but when I stood my ground. They sicked the State Cops on me, it's was the CPS investigators fiance. Was released without charge. But they kidnapped my kids while they had me. Never got them back. I'm fortunate that they were not far for aging out when it started. And have a great relationship with 2 out of 3. I accepted defeat immediately, knew there wasn't a chance in hell of getting them back. They were threatening to adopt them across state in 5 days. Or worse, give them to their convicted child abuser mother. And you bet they did. She fked up in no time though. My son got into legal trouble within months. They were all A students with perfect attendance. Until CPS, their grades went to failing, missed weeks and weeks. But it's fine… cause CPS did it. I'm a jack of many trades, many jobs. But at least none of my jobs make me look over my shoulder, have trouble sleeping, or worry about getting assassinated by someone I've worked with.

  4. Wait, i thought republicans are supposed to be about freedoms? Isn't that what the people voting for them scream about at the rallies? You mean they're really liars who aim to remove freedoms if you don't agree with their fantasy mythology they base their lives on?

  5. My mother was an abusive alcoholic who drove under the influence to get me after hitting me one day. She tore the sleeve off my shirt. I ran to a friends and she got into the car drunk and my friends mom called the police. They released me to my mom.

  6. So sad, I'm trying to start a business selling weed shirts and people are losing kids over something put here by God. Leave it to humans to ruin something that was put here for us to use.

  7. Dcf took my child away by saying I was mentally unstable and im imagining my severe autoimmune disease (that’s the report they got) even with full doctors support and evidence I was isolated away from my daughter for a year. There reports are filled with lies, they denied my disease, disabilities, ignored my accomadations- gave me a task plan 7 months late that would have made me have to break the law to be compliant with it. My daughter almost killed herself- got sectioned by my fucked up sibling who started these accusations in the first place when my daughter finally was brave enough to speak out. Sectioned on Christmas for speaking out then dcf altered all the records to take their illegal and unethical actions out- but left in the lies and omitted evidence that would have exonerated me. We both have severe PTSD now and are trying to heal. God bless anyone who had had to deal with these corrupt horrific abusive agencies. I love you all.

  8. Iegal states +. I live in a prohibition state. The state will nake thier own rules. This has to be addressed. The reason is because they're dealing with a lot of low lives that don't care about their kids but a lot of people do

  9. Alcohol destroys families separates them apart right around the world cannabis causes the same thing to happen the difference is it’s the government that will tear that family apart and make the parents criminals not the weed itself

  10. 20k on the first story actually being along the lines of she was doing meth and letting her dealer/manufacturer stay with her for rocks instead of rent. dude went mia/got kicked out before the raid. source: this exact situation happened with my uncle and his wife, years before their child. you cannot look at her face and tell me she never touched meth. i live in the meth capital of the us, i can pick em. 🤣

  11. As someone who has had the misfortune of being addicted to both pot and alcohol, I can say for certain that alcohol is so much worse, and it takes a lot to get in trouble with the law over alcohol whereas mere possession of marijuana is enough to lock some people up

  12. I get it should not be but it is criminal at this point. Marijuana is illegal in these places. It might as well be psilocybin or MDMA. Push the state to change or move to a different state, those are the options.
Just because they are willing to do it doesn't believe they don't think you did it. They can agree to this to save courts time or a conviction is less likely.

  13. you can say what you like about what should be legal, but these parents knew the potential consequences and still chose a high over their kids. same with drinkers. if you have little kids, you should control yourself and not be on any substances at all, coffee or painkillers at max

  14. Children's Services taking away kids just because of weed makes for a good story but this is hardly the truth! There has to be something else, come on… Are there no laws over there in the USA? This has to be approved by the Court, social workers don't just take children! Weed was the least of this particular lady's problems… We heard her describe police walking into a drug den where little children were living together meth-heads, with drugs being within their reach. And that's only what the mother was willing to disclose on camera.

  15. The only thing criminal about cannabis is its federal prohibition. One of the most destructive things in existence is the US drug war. Has destroyed impoverished and minority communities all over the world, causing harm beyond measure. Far more damage done by the drug war than could have ever been done by drugs alone. And yet the band plays on. An entire industry is centered around destroying families and criminalizing communities, and then blaming it on the drugs. This type of thing is why the organization LEAP was formed. Not sure if they still exist, but this story reminds me of another documentary called In Pot We Trust. A woman named Jacqueline Patterson with cerebral palsy was using cannabis as medicine and had her children taken from her for doing it. Absolutely devastating. I have Crohn’s disease and also use cannabis to stay in remission. My risk for cancer is extremely high and cannabis is essential to risk reduction for me in the long term especially. Very grateful to be in a legal state.

  16. That is absolute bullshit! How can they destroy a family over pot? A smoker does not love a child any less. The poor children are the ones that suffer the trauma from being separated from the family and who knows what else in state care. Absolute shame. It is understandable if there is abuse or negligence, or drug dealing etc in the home, but otherwise, let people be! Stop abusing authority! It is also a huge waste of resources from police to the courts to social services. Surely the resource should be put to better use? Wish these people would use some common sense
