  3. wow, 1 unit x2 Daily seems kinda high …just comparing body weights with humans… interesting. He has the best chances of having a happy healthy kitty life if he's with you, he sounds chill but you have to bring him home and see if his stress level goes down, in the carrier isnt a great test… do you think you can lower the insulin if you get him off the carbs?

  12. Awww, that made me cry. So happy for your new addition. I have been catless for 10 years and I just can't stand it any longer. Traveling for the holidays so as soon as I'm home I can't wait to have a cuddly purring machine in my lap. Monkey is so lucky to have you.

  14. Oh my! Dr. Andrew you made a fab decision!!! This cat is meant for you and family. Look at how settled and affectionate he is with you. And you understand his medical needs so it's a win-win.
    I have an adopted big bundle of love called Mr. Grey who is fiv+ but is definitely the greatest cuddle monster I ever met. He's a big fellow with a big head and paws but all he wants is a cuddle and sit on anyones lap.
    I lost dear Ginger before Mr. Grey came to us so I always feel that he came in need of a family thanks to Ginger. Maybe Gussie sent this cat to your family after he passed away.
    Anyway, best wishes to your new addition to the family and looking forward to future videos.

  16. Hello I think that you have made up your mind to adopt him. He is a lovely cat. The other thing to keep in mind is that you can handle the out of pocket expenses. If you can afford him well adopt him and good on you. Give yourself a Christmas present

  17. Something tells me Monkey will be joining your family.

    I would like for you do make a video about making the choice to bring in a companion animal for an existing dog. Including if your have a male is it best to adopt a boy or a girl. Can a cat make a suitable companion. Also I was thinking of rescuing a an older dog anywhere from 4 to 8 . I'd love to hear your thoughts on this Dr

  19. all houses holdes needs a cat or more lol i got a few cats and dogs lol a house without pets is nothing they bring alot of love to a home and monkeys is really cute i say go for it maybe look into another one also 🙂

  20. I really like raising a puppy and a kitten together and close to the same age so that they are friends right from the start ❤️
    I recently lost my much loved Yogi my German shepherd he was 14 1/2 year old. Now it's just me and my 14 year old cat Sadie .
