If you give people a 2nd chance to fix their mistakes and they attitude and show them respect, you would be surprised how much they appreciate it and behave like normal humans in society .but then again you will always get the humans who will never change,submit and do much prefer the world to be in chaos where those type of people thrive in chaotic environments .

I hope you guys know that she is talking about New York City's RIKERS ISLAND JAIL. RIKERS ISLAND has the reputation as THE MOST violent JAIL in the United States. Just look up the inmate Eddie White. He was in the 1994 HBO documentary Lock-Up: The Prisoners of RIKERS ISLAND.

The older I get the less I undetstand what prisons are for.
Some prison,s particularly maximum security,remand prison,s are probably worse,more violent,more dysfunctional due to coming off the streets with drug and mental health issues,remand prison,s are nuts..cost a fortune to run a prison,they spend a lot of time locked in their cells,jails are over crowded now,crimes on the increase,harder things get more crime will rise.
Idc about the cops. Maybe if we didnt just put a bunch of obviously underprivileged people into prisons where they are stripped of almost all of their rights. If we rehabilitated instead of punishing this wouldnt be an issue
